"The service at this hotel Oberoi was one of the best service I have ever received from any hotel I have stayed at. I have stayed at many hotels in the world and this is my favourite hotel. The staff service was excellent. The Duty Manger Shivansh Kansal service was excellent. He was very attentive to all the guests and also made sure that my time at the restaurants was very comfortable and helped me with all my requests. The food was superb and was off very high quality. You could tell the ingredients were of very high quality. The Assistant Front Office Manager Meet Aurora service was very good. He made all my requests were attended to and was very helpful. The Spa Team was very good and there service was excellent. The Spa Manager Rajkumari Prativa Devi service was excellent. She and her team were so accommodating and were always ready to help and gave excellent service. Right from the Massage, Gym and Swimming Pool the experience was very memorable. Special Thanks to Santosh for the great service he had provided at the Spa. His service was excellent. The Lifeguard at the Swimming Pool Razak was very helpful and gave excellent service. Limile gave a very good massage.. The other staff Abhay Dombe, Hmingi, Jessica and W,Khongleh Warden service was also excellent. I had an excellent experience at this hotel and was treated like a Rockstar. I will always remember this experience and will definitely come back to this hotel when I am back in Mumbai for my future visits to Mum"

"How this hotel can be rated as 4 star is a joke, the photos of the rooms must be at least 10 years old. The only positive was that I arrived early and was able to go straight to my room, on the door opening the smell wasn't inviting and then it went downhill from then on, if I hadn't paid upfront I would immediately have left. The place is in desperate need of an update and deep clean, the 'balcony' was so small not even a chair on it, the bedding was no longer white but grey and had holes in it. I decided (as I'd paid) to stay a night, the shower was good, I had food on the rooftop terrace which was extremely busy and was ok, but breakfast the next morning was so poor. I then decided I had to cut my losses and move and when I told he guy I was leaving early he never even asked me why, think he may be used to it. Such a shame it has been let to run down as the location is great, but it has no amenities as it occupies the floors of another hotel. "

"The room was decent but not what I expected. Breakfast was decent but definitely better places to stay in the area. Very convenient location however but the part that gave me the ick was how many little flies were in the bathroom and I also found a spider hiding under the sink. If you plan to be out all day and spend very little time in the room, then it works. "

"I was skeptical about this hotel when first viewing it online. I had been to India before and burned by photos that do not represent current conditions at the hotel. That was not the case at Majlis. The hotel is not new and shows its age, but it is really good by local standards. The general neighborhood is also safe and vibrant, and includes plenty of shops and restaurants within a short walk. The staff was very kind and helpful, and always welcomed me back with a smile. I would definitely stay at Majlis again. "
