Exactly as described. It’s in a beautiful location at the north end of the island so it’s very calm and secluded. The views of the water from the back yard are great. We saw several river otters and other wildlife. The jacuzzi is a definite plus. The house itself is cozy and feels like it’s actually a home, and unlike many vacation rentals it includes plenty of space - and actual dressers! -to put clothes away. The yard is large and nice, and the hot tub is clean. The house is comfortable enough but could use updates. However, the beds are comfortable and the place is clean. If I owned this house, I’d upgrade the screens (to prevent ants and bugs, but we only saw a handful) and the living room furniture. The property offers decent amenities, making it suitable for a relaxing stay. However, the house could use some maintenance, particularly the deck, which really needs to be repainted. The outdoor grill lacks proper cleaning tools and is dirty; the wire cleaning brush is also overdue for replacement. Inside the house, some of the furniture is worn out and has torn areas. Close to trails and an amazing sculpture park we explored over 2 days, a close drive to the ferry terminal and whale watching expeditions.
