Named after the Blue Jay birds that live here. There's lots of deer too! The home is set up very nice and its's hosted by a very experienced local 3R team. We promise you will love it at The Jay! Three Rivers is a great little town in the foothills on the way to the Sequoia National Forest. From the furnishings to the cleanliness and the personal touches throughout the home the 'Blue Jay' is a large 3 bedroom - 2 full bathroom home nestled in the hills right in the center of Three Rivers and yet it is conveniently located only 3.4 miles from the Park entrance. We offer you a new kitchen with everything you will need to cook in house. Plus, lots of local info and tips from our Host which include where to go if you just prefer dining out! The bathrooms are always clean, and we provide you with plenty of fresh, clean towels. We also supply you with shampoo, conditioner and body wash. The beds are top of the line queen size and include all new linens. These beds are comfortable! We also use hypoallergenic pillow and bed protectors for your safety and comfort. The couches, and the dining room table for 6, are very comfortable as well. Yes, there is a large HD-TV with very good Wi-Fi. It is good enough to stream movies 24/7 so we include free Netflix for you! The Blue Jay was the perfect landing pad for our family's June trip to Sequoia. The place was very clean, super well-equipped, comfortably furnished, and so peaceful! We loved watching the quail and squirrel families in the backyard. The house is nice and close to the Park entrance and the cute town of Three Rivers (we loved Tony's Taverna on Wheels!). To top all that off, Mark is the best host we've ever had at a vacation rental. Extremely communicative, responsive, helpful, and kind. Mark provided us with step by step directions in case that GPS failed (which it did). Our only difficulty was the street sign name change was a bit confusing, especially arriving after dark because there are no lights at the cross road exchange. Next time we know to bring more groceries as we didn't see any places to shop for them nearby. But the house had everything we needed except: more blankets, we wanted to get cozy on the couch will watching TV & didn't want to keep turning the heater up & couldn't use the fire place. Also, an Air Fryer would be useful for faster meal preparation. ##### Danna C.
