The cottage was clean and the perfect size for two people. It was cutely decorated and had everything you need in a cottage: comfy bed and furniture, outdoor eating area, fire pit, and pretty views of the site and surrounding areas. There was a fantastic restaurant just a couple of minutes walk away. There are great beaches in the area that do not require a national park pass. It is close to Kensington, where there is a lovely pub and a bakery/coffee shop. It is a short drive to other communities like Stanley Bridge and to Cavendish. We stayed in one of the cottages for a long weekend and thoroughly enjoyed our experience there. Our hosts we fantastic! Great communication, provided spotlessly clean accommodation and so friendly. Would highly recommend this location to anyone - families, couples and solo travelers alike. Lots of parking, lots of greenery and quaint living space really allows for a relaxing experience. The cottage itself has recently been renovated and everything is in solid working order. A nice powerful shower with ample hot water compliments the well equipped kitchen and living area.
