« We drove by the drive on the way up 56, but look for the well house columns and you’ll be able to find it. We were hoping to do some fishing and relax by a pond in nature but were saddened to find that the pond is probably 20-30yards from the road and being a state route was highly traveled. With that said we did catch 27 fish (3 small catfish, 2 8” Bass and 22 bluegills all very small. We ended up throwing all them back. We had fun but was very noisy at pond. « Property was as advertised and very comfortable for our party of 5. Our schedule didn't allow us to explore the property's hiking, firepit & grill, but looked inviting nonetheless. Only comments would be master bath shower needs a really good cleaning. Downstairs shower curtain was discolored. Couple staying downstairs would've like to have a tv in their room. »

« Property was perfect. Great woodsy location just a few miles from French Lick. The property was clean and well stocked. The host has an arrangement of activities at the property from yard darts and ping pong tables to family games and a fire pit. We had a wonderful time. »

« House was very comfortable. Surrounding area was extremely peaceful. Family was a little disappointed because hot tub was out of commission. Our oldest brother would have enjoyed it especially after golfing. We hope to continue our family reunion tradition and use your unit again next year. »

« The house was very tastefully decorated and had all the amenities we could want. It was minutes from downtown French Lick, so it was very convenient. Bed was comfortable, as was the living room. Hosts even left us some chocolates! »

« Overall, this property is exactly as listed. It’s in a great location. The only issues we had were lack of toilet paper and paper towels and the cleanliness of the hot tub and back deck. There is a lack of water pressure in the shower. Nathan was very responsive when we contacted him. He is a new owner of this property, so hopefully this review will help him address easily corrected issues. »

« My family and I booked at the last minute so we could go view the Solar Eclipse. The process of booking, checking in and checking out was a breeze. Jodey was very responsive and extremely helpful in making our stay very enjoyable. We would highly recommend a stay here, and we hope to return for a Christmas visit to Santa Claus. »

« Very cute little shot-gun style bungalow. Decor has a classy art-deco vibe. The place was super clean. Several nice restaurants within walking distance. Bedrooms are quite small with very little storage but the beds were super comfortable. It would be quite a stretch to sleep 6 as it has a very small pull-out couch in the main area. Also, no hot tub as promoted. The host was super with communication. »

« We stayed over memorial day weekend and had a great time. There were 4 of us and a dog, yet there was plenty of space to spare. The back porch backs directly up into the woods, and I kept trying to catch glimpse of sasquatch to no avail. The home had abundant towels and blankets, which was a nice thing to not worry about especially when swimming at the lake and having to shower multiple times. « This eclectic old house was perfect for our group of nine, everybody had their own bathroom and bedroom (we had one couple in our group). It had everything we needed our could want. It was in a very nice area and main Street of New Albany is a short walk with plenty of bars and restaurants. Our only regret was not staying longer to use all the amenities the house has to offer. »
