If you’re looking for a couples romantic get away, or a small family vacation, then campfire retreat is the place for you. Come and enjoy the peace and serenity which will leave you feeling rested and restored. The fully equipped kitchen and gas grill will complete any culinary desires you may have. Enjoy a cozy night cuddled up, taking in the warmth of the indoor fireplace. The loft offers a full size bed and the couch makes into a queen size bed. Enjoy the outdoors and do a little nature watching from the comfort of the front porch. Take in the sights and sounds of a peaceful evening in the outdoor Hot tub or enjoy sitting around the campfire making hotdogs or your favorite s’mores.

Located off Indian camp road in French creek Wv. Just minutes away from swimming areas, kayaking and a stocked trout stream that cannot be duplicated.

Romantic Getaway
We enjoyed our 23rd anniversary at this cute cabin. It was a very quiet and relaxing place to spend a few days. We had everything we needed to feel at home. We enjoy cooking, so we had a wonderful steak dinner using the grill, enjoyed the hot tub, and sitting around the fire. The hosts even had firewood ready for us. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to staying again.

We loved our stay! I’m a nature lover and loved sitting outside listening to the birds. We had a rooster visit us in the morning and a beautiful deer hung out in the yard for awhile. We wanted to enjoy the fire pit but sadly couldn’t find a lighter. It was a wonderful stay though and the cabin and location were exactly what we were looking for.

The cabin was absolutely gorgeous! The dirt road to get to the property was a little scary. I also wish that the trees would have been covering the 2 houses nearby to feel completely private. The cabin itself though was very cozy!

Booked for a little weekend getaway for my boyfriend's birthday. Ended up snowed in! The host was exceptional. She got us squared away so we could extend our stay and not have to pay a bunch of extra fees. We will be returning. Maybe next time in the summer...

Birthday Get Away from Buffalo
This little cabin in the woods is exactly what my girlfriend and i needed. Just a 6 hour drive from Buffalo and we were in the peaceful woods of West Virginia. It was clean and had everything we needed. I even prepared a wonderful seafood meal of scallops and crab legs for my birthday girl. :)

We overall had a great time, although we left early because we felt too cramped, and so close to the main road with lots of traffic and noise, the cabin was beautiful, so clean! Our mistake for not realizing how small it was, owner was great and you couldn’t ask for a cleaner rental! The decor was amazing and the bathroom will make you jealous it’s not yours!

Summer, Winter, Fall, this cabin has it all. The jacuzzi is always pleasant. The area is private enough to feel alone but not so secluded you feel uncomfortable. The people in the surrounding area are always helpful and kind.

Great getaway and amazing cabin
We had an amazing stay at the campfire retreat. The kitchen supplies sufficient cookware )including an air fryer), the hot tub was amazing, and the fire pit was cozy. We recommend the Wildlife Center as a fun thing to do in the area but to take the main roads as the back roads were a bit scary for non AWD vehicles or locals. Other notes is the bed is a bit on the smaller side (double sized I believe) and the extra microwave takes up valuable counter space. There is about 3 miles of gravel driving to get to the listing.

6 Day Stay
We loved this place! Truly a great little cabin in the woods. Very comfortable and clean! The decor is in very good taste! Everything worked well, dishes, towels and cookware was enough to meet our needs. We travelled to and from the cabin quite often, loved the windy roads and the paved topped hwys were great. The last leg to the cabin is 3.5 miles of gravel road. Was a little concerning as it will put additional wear and tear on your vehicle. Just needed to take it slow and watch out for potholes and wildlife! Luckily no flat tires! Overall, we were very happy with our stay!
