We were looking for a place that is dog-friendly, comfortable, and quiet. Walnut Canyon Cabins is the perfect choice for all this and more! The owners are so welcoming and knowledgeable. They had treats for our pup and homemade chocolates to help us celebrate our 17th wedding anniversary. The cabin was perfect! So clean and accommodating. Farm fresh eggs from their chickens, biscuit dough, fresh ham, and more were all provided. The bed was comfortable and so was the furniture. We were given deer feed and what an amazing experience! We had 6 deer including one baby that came right up and fed. We also were able to see the chickens roam and feed the cows and horse on the property as well. As an avid animal lover, this made my trip! The view from our cabin was absolutely incredible! Do yourself a favor and just stay here. You will not be disappointed. We are already planning our trip back. At the base of the main road is Old Tunnel State Park. The views are breathtaking! It’s just a short drive to restaurants and grocery stores as well as shopping and so much beautiful architecture.
