Escape to the Texas Hill Country in a private stone country home. Located only 9 miles from Fredericksburg's lively mainstreet, this charming home is the perfect place to snuggle up and relax after a day of wine tasting and shopping on Main. This cozy home is located on 23 acres with a classic red barn and a neighboring home. On the property you will also find horses, mini horses, goats, and chickens. Your breakfast is furnished for one of your mornings. Our chickens Lilli, Coco and Mae will happily provide fresh eggs and you will find biscuits and butter and jelly in the fridge. Enjoy your coffee on the porch and be entertained by the farm animals. The house sleeps 4\. There is a king size bed in the master bedroom and a queen pullout futon in the living area. Expect to be greeted with a bottle of local wine, a snack tray and fresh sweets to begin your stay in style! Farm dog Kaiser enthusiastically greeted us upon arrival and the lovely owner introduced us to all of the sweet goats, horses, donkeys, and chickens. The place is just far enough from the town to provide quiet, but close enough to do shopping and eat at restaurants. WiFi works well, and the bed was comfortable. It is out of town, so make sure and have food and drinks. Pam was super friendly and has a lot of fur friends on her property, cats, dogs, horses, goats, chickens, roosters and Taco the donkey.
