The walls are paper thin! We were all adults so we were able to laugh it off and turn the tv up loud. But do not…I repeat…DO NOT take your small children to stay here. It is on the same property as Fiesta Winery. This happens to also be on the 290 Wine Shuttle stop list, so we were able to relax in our room for awhile and then take the shuttle back into town. The bed was comfy, the room was super clean, had plenty of seating, room to move around, and a beautiful porch overlooking the courtyard of the winery. Out behind the building was an orchard, and my husband counted 17 deer in that orchard. On the other side of the winery was the Alstadt Brewery, it is a gorgeous, we ate dinner there and the food was spectacular! The beer was great as well, don’t miss eating on the back patio to enjoy the beautiful hill country scenery! This was a great experience in the Hill Country! —we went during the middle of the week, I can see how our experience would not be the same if it was a crowded weekend, the parking could get tight, and it might get noisy, but it would still be worth it. 😉 great place! ##### Karla D. There were four of us staying in one room and after visiting state parks and vineyards the room got filthy and they do not clean up until you leave. They didn't even leave extra trash bags. You must use the hand soap to wash the dishes. I really hated how much dirt was on the floor and almost bought a broom and a mop from the nearest Walmart. I decided not to because I'm on vacation and shouldn't have to. The room is very cute and comfortable. The mattresses were a little old and the beds sunk in a bit but overall, the decor was nice. It was very windy there and the metal roof will not let you sleep well. The walls are so thin that we could hear every conversation our neighbor had. So, we made sure to whisper the entire vacation. The vineyards close at 5 but this one stays open until 6 or 6:30 I think. When I booked it, I thought these places stayed open later so there really wasn’t any benefit to staying onsite. ##### Vivian M.
