Located just blocks from Main St. it features a recently remodeled house, an expansive patio and a fire pit to sip wine as the sun sets. This home provides ample space for all types of occasions, from bachelorette parties to relaxing family vacations. \- The large master bedroom offers a spacious room with a king bed, its own private bathroom, and TV. \- The 2nd bedroom has a king bed and its own TV. \- The 3rd bedroom has two comfy twin beds. \- The sun room is updated with a new full size sleeper sofa which sleeps 2, bringing the total sleeping capacity to 8! \- Mix drinks on the island and enjoy all of the conveniences of a fully equipped kitchen. Every morning, take your coffee on the patio and listen to the soothing sound of the Texas Hill Country. The Peach Orchard Haus has the BEST location in Fredericksburg, walkable to Main St (5 min), Hondo’s (8 min) and the National Museum of the Pacific War (15 min). The close proximity to Main St. allows easy access to restaurants, shopping and the pickup locations of wine shuttles. \- Sleeps: 8 \- Bedrooms: 3 (Master w/ King, 2nd bedroom with King, and 3rd bedroom with two twin beds) \- Bathrooms: 2 \- Full size sleeper sofa in the sun room We take hosting seriously, and want to ensure you have the best experience. After the first stay, we called attention to the high broken stone steps to the porch. There is no rail in either place to provide much needed stability. The problem hadn’t been addressed last year or this visit. It is an accident waiting to happen. We won’t be back until this has been fixed. We also experienced a very sagging mattress in the back bedroom. We really like this place. But some things need to be addressed before we can return. ##### Jim G. We had to put a towel in to be safe showering. Other issues we encountered for older residents were: Safety with the front steps (hand rail) back porch levels not marked (ie with paint?)Cleanliness of the outdoor furniture Loose flagstones were also an issue for us.
