Séjour de 2 nuits en janvier 2026 ### 6/10 – Acceptable #### Marie G., Benbrook, TX 16 nov. 2025 I booked this room for the price and proximity to town. It has rustic charm. I loved the cabin feel and the photos of the decore and spaces is accurate. With that being said, our original check-in instructions were inaccurate. Our GPS told us we were in the correct place, but the winery (Fiesta Winery) was not there. Also, there should have been more detailed info on how to find the suite as the bldg is in a cluster of several small wineries and there is a foyer to walk into before you get to your door. We arrived at dark around 5:30 or 6:00 pm and there is no-one on site. We messaged the host which is some type of property mgr that has likely never been or seen the actual property. The entry is confusing. There are 2 ways to get in. A keypad with a 10 digit code (which did not work for us) and an old combo lockbox with a key inside. Luckily the host gave us the backup 4 digit combination and it worked so we used a physical door key. The backup code should have been included in the check-in instructions. The unit was clean, but it didnt smel clean. It smelled damp and musty and old. I feel like they need some "damp-rid" to take the musty moisture from the wood. Also, the bathroom smelled "old". The toilet is extremely loose and likely the smell is coming from the unsealed toilet. The whole place could benefit from some deep cleaning and Febreeze and damp-rid. The bed was a hard as a rock but linens were nice. ##### Marie G. The address was downtown Fredericksburg at a winery, and the bartenders said it wasn’t the first time renters went to them. They ended up giving us an idea where the correct address was. Finally when we arrived we had trouble with the key pad. When putting in the numbers we had to do it 5-7 times before the door would unlock. The bathroom floors could’ve used a good scrubbing and there were a pair of black socks under the bed (not ours). On the upside the cabin was cute and the bed was very comfortable. And like clock work at 4:30 each morning we were awakened by the wrenching smell of a skunk. Not sure if we would return to this rental. ##### Nanette B. Previous reviews made us nervous but there were no issues with the AC, loud neighbors, or issues getting in. We would recommend friends and family to stay here. Was really looking forward to it as I've never stayed at one. No host. No B & B. Quaker Oats oatmeal and pouched bagels in the mini fridge for breakfast. Dirty dishes, cups and utensils. No table to eat it at anyway. My husband had to tighten the shower faucets before they could be turned on. Shower head was gross and nasty looking. Floors were dirty. Coffee table was dirty. The blue blanket at the foot of the bed had dirty, black spots on it, so we didn't use it. Solar lights outside on sidewalk were laying over and didn't work anyway. Light in foyer is too dim to see key hole in the evening. But the towels and sheets smelled clean. ##### Denise C. We had such a great time at this cabin! It was spacious, clean and had thoughtful extras (snacks, waters, toiletries, etc). We loved that it was right on the same property as tasting rooms and a close distance from downtown and the other wineries. We had one small issue arise (no fault of the property - local power went out) and we heard back from the manager quickly and they helped resolve.
