Summary: Experience the ideal retreat for large groups at The Kilted Cowboy Haus! This charming property offers not one, but two structures – the main house and the casita. Enjoy a relaxing hot tub, fire pit, and spacious covered patio perfect for dining and entertaining. Inside, you’ll find beautiful living spaces and cozy bedrooms designed for comfort. Located just a 10-minute walk from downtown Main Street, you’ll have quick access to shops, restaurants, and local entertainment. The Space: The open concept luxury kitchen, living room, and dining rooms keeps everyone together for the fun! Mingle, relax, and dine together while cooking on an original, fully functioning 1950s Maytag oven. The huge island includes barstool seating for 4 and, along with the dining room table that seats 6, there’s plenty of room for everyone to have a seat at the table! The living room includes a fireplace and large TV so you won’t miss the game or the latest episode of your favorite show. In the dining room, you’ll find a Black & Decker Bev beverage maker (like a Keurig for cocktails)! Outdoors: Over 750 square feet of covered patio to extend your celebrations outside! Two tables for games or dining and a seating area provide the space you need to enjoy beautiful Hill Country weather! There’s also a hot tub for soaking and a firepit if the weather gets a bit chilly. On the patio, you’ll also find some yard games to enjoy the huge backyard. Bedrooms & Bathrooms: The main house includes three bedrooms with the fourth bedroom in the guesthouse off the covered patio. There are two bathrooms in the main house, one en-suite bathroom that includes a large, luxury walk-in shower and a second bathroom that includes a shower/tub combo. Bedroom 1: King sized bed, Queen sized luxury blow up air mattress, TV, en-suite bathroom Bedroom 2: Queen sized bed Bedroom 3: Two full sized beds Bedroom 4: Queen sized bed, daybed (two twin trundle beds), TV The Neighborhood: Fredericksburg has enough to do to keep you busy for as long as you want to stay! Typically, maintenance will take roughly 15 minutes, and the pool / spa will be available for use after the service is completed. Also note, that the casita is a detached structure from the main house. If you're considering bringing a furry friend along, kindly be aware we do have a $50 pet fee per pet. From the moment we arrived, it felt like the perfect getaway for our 28th Deltaversary Sisterhood Celebration. Joe was an exceptional host—quick to respond, super helpful, and went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly for me and my sorority sisters.His recommendation of Hill Country Catering for our private chef experience was chef’s kiss—delicious doesn’t even begin to describe it! The home itself was just right for our group of 11 women: comfy beds, stylish country chic decor, and plenty of cozy spaces to gather, laugh, and reminisce. We could’ve used one more bathroom, but honestly, we made it work without a hitch.The beautiful country backyard was exactly what we needed to unwind, unplug, and selah—a true breath of fresh air.Highly recommend this gem of a retreat. It had a lot of beds, which is what we needed, but most were ok dorm room beds and not comfortable. The oven, while it is nostalgic and neat, it dangerous and will eventually get someone hurt or killed when it blows up because someone doesn't know how to use natural gas. The living room was filthy. There were either ice cream, frosting or baby batter stains all over the floor and couches. We contacted the owner and his response was "duly noted." The cups and plates were covered in a greasy residue and had to be washed before we could use any of them. The hot tub was messed up our entire stay there and the panel said it was 104, but it was way hotter than that. We contacted the host about it and were told to leave the top off to let it cool down. The idea and concept of this house is neat and it could be a really great place to stay... but it is not right now. For the amount of money we spent for 2 nights for a girls trip and how unclean and uncaring the host was, I would absolutely spend my money somewhere else. This place is lipstick on a pig for the pics and once they get your money, they don't care about anything else. If you are going back and forth between this place another one, looking for enough beds and space for people, do yourself a favor and choose the other place! ##### Teresa H. The outdoor space was so great! It must be noted that neither the front entrance nor back entrance steps have a railing. We had two family member fall due to this. I have notified the home owner and he promptly replied that he would fix it. With this one fix, this would make this great property even better by making it safe for all!
