Enjoy a cool plunge in the new cowboy pool and relax in the hot tub or gather around the fire pit where you’ll often hear live music from nearby Hondo’s on Main. A huge covered front porch and gorgeous Gazebo invites you into old world charm. In the living room, you’ll find the original wood floors, newly refinished. The Space: In the master suite, you’ll find a surround sound music/theater system with plenty of space for you and/or friends to enjoy. An entire upstairs built in the old German style, with an original clawfoot tub, another king sized bed and two full-sized bunk beds (with one additional roll-out) await your guests. Brand new LED lighting and ceiling fans make for a cozy, comfortable experience. Every bed has ideal reading lights and personal charging stations. Enjoy local wine and meals together at the large butcher block dining table overlooking the back patio just off the old style fully furnished kitchen. This adorable kitchen has everything you need, including all stainless steel appliances - two ovens, a large refrigerator, microwave, wine refrigerator, small dishwasher, and plenty of appliances to serve up your favorite meal. The house was clean, the hot tub was perfect temperature, beds were comfortable, bedrooms were spacious, the location to Main Street was perfect and the other little touches made this a great place to stay. I’d love to come back and rent Vino Vida again. Also, the home is 100 years old, but doesn’t seem like it because of the updated appliances/fixtures/furniture/decor. 10/10 for my family. ##### megan a. Heavenly hosts sent a team to “clean” on Saturday- at which point belongings were rearranged and rummaged through. Not items that may have been in the way. In items that were PUT AWAY. Specifically, purses and such. Multiple dead bugs still were found. We specifically mentioned the master bedroom, the sheets and comforter needed to be replaced or the very least, cleaned. Imagine the surprise of finding a dead bug IN THOSE SHEETS that they “changed”. There were dead bugs in towels, on windowsills, and bugs crawling in our personal belongings. We found roaches, ants, termites (with visible termite damage on windowsills). There was damage on the doors and windows to indicate they were not sealed properly. As well as a hole in the actual floor. One guest scratched her finger, which caused an infection. Almost immediately she was not able to remove her rings from her finger. This was a bachelorette horror story and honestly ruined the entire trip. I am concerned that they are still able to allow people to stay here. The pictures are entirely misleading. It is rundown and the backyard was not even swept up at the very least. I have more pictures than I am able to attach. for safety purposes- this house is extremely exposed. As mentioned earlier, multiple doors and windows were obviously not maintained. As well as multiple areas from the home were visible from windows because they lack coverage. As a woman, I would not stay here again. So peaceful and relaxing and was perfect for our visit. There was plenty of room to sit and visit-both inside and outside. Each couple had their own bedroom and bathroom which was very nice. The house was in perfect condition and was very conveniently located close to main street. Everything was exactly as described and exceeded our expectations. The bed in the large master is comfortable and the room keeps very cool. The dining room table is large and accommodated our group of 8 perfectly. The backyard was very relaxing and there is plenty of seating. The hot tub was relaxing and very clean. The upstairs was hot, maybe due to the extreme Texas heat, but the downstairs was comfortable. Even with the 5 floor fans going, it was still uncomfortably warm upstairs. Maybe not enough insulation. Another negative was that the dryer was not accessible. It would have been nice to dry our clothes after getting in the hot tub. The home is very pet-friendly, and the backyard has plenty of space for your fur-kid!
