This architectural marvel in the heart of the Texas Hill Country is located just 10 minutes from downtown Fredericksburg. Sitting on 12 beautiful, secluded and private acres, this 4 bedroom/3 bath home is made up of 3 separate, converted shipping containers. Each of the two lower containers are 2 bedroom/1 bath (1 queen size bed, 1 full) with a small living room and kitchen, and the upper container has a wide open floor plan with a big screen TV, a full size kitchen, a couch (that has a bed), a washer and dryer, and a bathroom with a large 2 person bathtub. All cooking utensils and pots and pans are provided, along with silverware, glasses, etc. There is a hot tub that doubles as a lounge pool in the summer too! The only complaint was there were piles of junk in the pasture, but that did not effect the lodging part other than the view. It was very nice to be in the country and not inside the city. The shipping containers were very interesting to me and was turned into a cute little getaway with privacy. The upstairs one had some couches, more kitchen area and a bathroom for more of a hangout spot. We day outside at night after visiting wineries and looked at all the stars.
