We decided to take our Mothers on a Mother-Daughter trip. With our schedules, we weren't able to be as "put together" as we normally are in our planning. Our first place fell through because of a wedding (I actually had to call multiple times because I never got responses to the emails). BUT THEN.... we found this place. And can I just say, sometimes rejection is PERFECTION!. This house was just perfect for us and for our moms. It an old home that has been painstakinglinly restored AND updated. The character was kept and the new only adds to the charm - updated bathrooms and kitchen. It it cozy in EVERY definition. And the decor...clearly the owner took time to find pieces that fit the house but are also functional. And the bed was one of the most comfortable I've every slept on. Plus, they have some of everything in case you leave something. Bath amenities, fully stocked kitchen (including pots, pans, potholders, etc.), all the things! And the wifi is speedy. Checking in was easy and no question went unanswered (although we didn't have many). It's just a short 5 minute drive from Main Street and we were blessed to find great parking every day - even on Sunday morning! Although there were 4 of us, I think 6 could easily be comfortable with the three bedroom/2 bath home, The dining table seats 6\. The outdoor space is beautiful. We spent one afternoon at Oktoberfest—about a 20-minute walk away. The house was super clean, spacious, and well-stocked. We especially enjoyed having morning coffee out on the back patio.
