River was amazing and we especially liked reading the Legends of the Au Sable book that was left for guests. House had everything we needed including toiletries and extra blankets. Visiting the state park nearby was a highlight. Did not care for the camera in the backyard that I could hear every time I walked by while playing bocci ball. Recommend taking food with since there are only two bars and a dollar general in town. Emily was kind enough to drop off extra kayaks when I inquired if there were any for us to use. She also made addition accommodations for us and I appreciate that very much. We didn’t get the warmest weather so are interested in visiting again in the future. We were just looking for a quiet getaway and found exactly what we wanted here. We canoed one day nearby, floated in the river in the backyard one day, and stayed in one day just lounging around.
