"Cottage had everything you may need. Small welcome pack with tea/coffee/sugar/milk and shortbread for your arrival. Off road parking was a bonus. Chip shop within walking distance which was also an ice cream shop, post office and sold some groceries. Wonderful beach within walking distance too."

"Our GPS in the rental car wasnt working properly, so finding the cottage was a bit tricky to find, but once we did, oh my! What a great little place! Right on the water, with spectacular views- sunrise on the North Sea. The owner was easy to reach by phone and email. The cottage was well-equipped with everything we needed."

"We had a lovely relaxed weekend the house is amazing. Plenty of space for everyone. Sonas system for our music. Pool was lovely and clean and checked everyday we were in the house. Alan our host was only a text message away if we needed him."

"Beautiful quiet cottage to recharge and reflect. Very sad time for us due to bereavement but cottage helped to heal our souls. We all loved it even the dog. Mattresses were a bit hard for our backs and sofas a bit soft and low but would not deter us from coming back. Wood burner was excellent at keeping cottage cosy. 9/10"

"First time of staying at a Marston's, couldn't fault the accommodation,check in was good the room was excellent,clean and well equipped would most definitely stay again. Across the car park was the bar and restaurant which was very well presented and staffed by very pleasant staff, the food however left a lot to be desired, I ordered fish and chips with mushy peas, upon receiving it I should have returned it but I had been travelling all day and was so tired I couldn't be bothered as I just wanted to sleep. The mushy peas were so dry they had left the sides of the ramakin, chips weren't to bad finally the fish! It was so contorted it made an arch on my plate I picked it up at one end and it left the plate like a piece of cardboard, I've never experienced a piece of fish like it. What was very self evident was how quiet the place was for a Friday night, serving food as was served to me is the reason. Come on guys, look at what you're serving and ask yourself "is this good enough""

"Hotel was very convenient for Crimond race track. Staff were very helpful. The main road outside was closed due to a burst water pipe. To get to the track would have taken over an hour, instead of 10 minutes if the diversion signs were followed. They showed me how to get there with a minor de-tour and provided a map! Everything was spotlessly clean. We will definitely stay again."

"My wife and I recently stayed at this lovely little cottage with amazing views out to sea.Fully equipped for all your self catering needs, the property was very clean, lovely comfortable bed, with a small but adequate bathroom. (Shower only)Outside has a lovely garden area, and spacious parking.I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place to family & friends. It was a long drive for the 2 of us, 8 hours away, but well worth it for the views alone."
