Three of the bedrooms have smart TV’s, two of the large bedrooms have King Size beds with high thread count soft luxurious bedding and en-suites one is on the main floor, the other upstairs has the ability to sleep 4, with an added full size bed. The home has central air & heat as well as two mini splits for ultimate comfort throughout the home. Along with three fireplaces, one gas in the main living room, one electric in the dining room, and another electric in the game room. In the morning enjoy an assortment of either Kuerig, Nespresso, or drip coffee. The home comes fully equipped with all the cooking, baking & serving essentials you will need. The Property – The property includes two fire pits, one large stone pit with red Adirondack chairs, the other with a fire table, located out back. A new large 6 person hot tub, hammock, glider, deck with outdoor dining, front porch with rocking chairs, expansive yard for exploring, picnicking, or enjoying one of the outdoor games, creek running the length of the front yard and behind the larger fire pit and a large propane BBQ grill. The home sits on 10 acres which has plenty of space for the whole family and lets kids be kids. So get outside and enjoy the great outdoors. Main Floor: As you enter Golden Acres Ranch you will be on the main floor where the living room greets you with the stacked stone gas fireplace for effortless ambiance and warmth. A large sofa and big screen television, along with a comfy fireside sitting area with two chairs and ottomans. The main Living Room opens into a secondary sitting area with a Queen size sleeper sofa and desk space. The first of the four bedrooms is the Bunk Room located just off the living room it features a clubhouse bunk bed along with a daybed that can be expanded into a King Size bed by adding an additional twin mattress, this bedroom can accommodate 4\. Through the Living Room just past the desk area on the left is the spacious main bathroom with a free-standing soaker tub, separate shower, and new vanity. The center of the house is the well equipped kitchen and dining room. The dining space is spacious and inviting, lined with windows, & features a large table, a bar that connects to the kitchen, an electric fireplace, & wine fridge. The Kitchen is loaded with amenities like a stocked coffee/tea bar with a kuerig, Nepresso & drip coffee maker along with an assortment of coffee & tea, sugar & assorted creamer. Just beyond the dining room is a large main floor king suite with ensuite bathroom, tv, separate sitting area and door to the back leading to the deck. The en-suite bathroom has a double vanity and massaging shower system. As you make your way thru the kitchen you will find the game/family room space with large screen tv, fireplace, poker table, Pac-Man freestanding arcade game and convertible game table with ping pong, pool and foosball. Attached to the game room is a kids camp bedroom with tent bunk bed and play area. The house has 4 bedrooms; however, only 2 of them are configured for adults. The 2 masters are very spacious and comfortable. The other 2 bedroom configurations are suited for children with bunk beds and a twin bed. The house was very well stocked with everything we needed to cook meals. There are 2 refrigerators plus a wine fridge so plenty of space for food if you are staying with family for a week. We enjoyed the outdoor space where we could use the hot tub after a long day of hiking and relax by the firepit. The Highland area is beautiful and I would recommend Golden Acres if you are looking for a place where the kids can run and where the adults can relax in a peaceful setting. ##### Jean B. The property was very private in a beautiful setting. The weather kept us inside most of the time, which was fine because of all of the games available in the house. But we did get to enjoy the back patio for a little while as well as a couple of yard games they had. Everything was very clean. Would definitely love to stay here again! ##### Pratt L. The bed, pillows, bedding, and towels are new and very comfortable. Plenty of space for a large group to spread out, but the rooms were large enough to all gather together. The property was well stocked with essentials like toilet paper and paper towels, and the showers have soap, shampoo and conditioner dispensers which is a nice added touch. Plenty of dishware and silverware for a large group. The stocked coffee/tea bar and snack basket was a special treat. The hosts even cater to your dogs with dog bowls and a basket of toys. The house is near the adorable downtown of Highlands, the river, several waterfalls, and hiking trails, but there is plenty to do right on the property as well. The owners were always quick to respond to my questions via email and promptly delivered a new set of bbq utensils when we realized they were missing. We would definitely rent this property again and highly recommend it. FYI - The kids camp bedroom is super adorable, but quite secluded and far from the master bedroom (it is off the game room - which is the converted garage space- the door behind the game table in the pictures). I do believe they have a monitor though. The downstairs master is very lovely, but a bit colder than the rest of the house (although we found an extra blanket in the closet that was quite warm) and just a bit noisy when the equipment kicks on (right outside the bedroom windows and in the corner of the bathroom). ##### Angie W.
