Plenty of seating for us us in the living area. Fab location. Lovely bathroom and powerul shower. The washing machine and tumble drier are great for a family. The neighbours were lovely as well and offered any help if needed whilst we were there. Fowey is beautiful and there are some lovely places to eat. The owner supplied loads of fab suggestions prior to arrival. Great for crabbing with the kids and some cute little shops. The listing says parking available but there isnt parking at the cottage for any periods of time, fine to pick up and drop off but there are no parking signs along the road. From the point of booking, James was super helpful with really good communication about things to do and places to eat (places get booked up in advance).The property is a lovely 2 bed cottage, there were just 2 of us and we had plenty of space and a nice outside area.The location is about a 5min walk from.the main town. Its so lovely and quiet, its got double glazing too which is a nice bonus. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need and we found it ro be like a home from home. It was very hard to leave :-(Free parking was available all week in a carpark 5 mins walk away. James had suggested lots of things to do in advance and sent us more updated ideas during our stay, he was so knowledgeable about the local area and just such a great host. We found Fowey to be a good central base for visiting lots of places, it wasnt stupidly busy like some other areas and was nice to come back to a quiet base in the evenings.Would recommend this place to anyone looking for a resful break in Cornwall. Everything you could need inside. Very clean and homely. Great location, 5 minutes walk to harbour area with plenty of little shops and eateries. It is well equipped, clean and tidy. Both the kitchen and bathroom are new and fresh. The real gem of this cottage is its location. The surroundings are quiet and access is easy, the harbour and all amenities can be reached on foot within a short walk. Upon arrival, we found everything as described, the cottage was neat and clean. Communication with the owner was thoroughly superb and very friendly. We had a small problem with a malfunctioning toaster, but the owner instantly arranged to have a new one delivered, even though he was on holiday himself. All things considered, we can only highly recommend the property when visiting beautiful Cornwall. ##### Nicolai C. Seine Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft fand ich enorm und so hat sich zu allen Fragen, die entstanden sind, sehr schnell eine Lösung ergeben. Das Haus liegt in einer recht ruhigen Straße oberhalb des Ortes und ist als Basis für alle möglichen Ausflüge zu Fuß oder auch per Auto super geeignet. James' Hinweise auf einen nahegelegenen, kostenlosen öffentlichen Parkplatz waren sehr hilfreich. er schickt auch Empfehlungen für örtliche Lokale. Alles in allem eine tolle Zeit und ein Haus, das ich bedenkenlos weiterempfehlen kann! ##### Robert P.
