You can really tell she put her heart into this place and people's stay. Very comfortable beds and living areas. The upstairs is a perfect little getaway from you group as well. Lots of great amenities and stocked homemade chocolate chip cookies that were delicious as well as good coffee which is super appreciated. Host also was flexible on me adding another night last minute since it was availabe. I will definitely book this home again when I am in town. Zero bad things to say about the place and experience. We traveled for a boys volleyball tournament at the War Memorial Coliseum, which is less than 10 minutes away. 4 teen boys slept upstairs: 2 shared the king bed, 1 on the day bed and room for our twin air mattress for the fourth. Bonus: they had their own bathroom upstairs! The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of extra throws/quilts. The sofa actually is a sofa bed, so there is extra room to sleep someone there. The kitchen had everything we needed and those chocolate chip cookies are delicious and a welcoming touch! This was the perfect place for our party of 7 and splitting the cost between our 2 families, provided way more comfort, space and privacy than 2 separate hotel rooms, for less cost. The washer and dryer downstairs was also handy, with detergent and dryer sheets provided. The extra hooks on the backs of the doors is a really nice touch and the luggage racks in the bedrooms as well. Check-out seemed almost too easy compared to other places we have stayed. The upstairs has the most remodeling, and has a large bedroom with both the King bed and a single, while there are two bedrooms on the main level, so you should take note that while there are beds for 5, there are only "really" 3 bedrooms.
