Most baby and cooking amenities are provided. Basketball, Pickleball courts, and a playground are just across the street! TVs in every room. Boats and RVs welcome! Amenities include an arcade, ping-pong, put-put, fire pit, piano, and grill. Jet Park for the kids is a rock throw away. Beaches, crab island, waterparks and more! Book with Ronin Stays LLC, we won't disappoint! The Space: The Ocean House is a very spacious 1,902 square foot Short-Term Rental that includes a split floor plan with two bedrooms with two full bathrooms to the left and two guest bedrooms with one full bathroom to the right as you enter. The kitchen and living room includes an open floor plan that is perfect for entertaining. The 2 car garage includes a ping pong table, grill, beach equipment and more. The master bedroom includes a private entrance. The backyard is fenced that comes up to the waist. Please be advised that there are a few small gaps are within the fence, which may pose an issue for smaller dogs to escape. Guest Access: Ronin Stays uses SuiteOp for guest access. Before arrival, guests will receive a link through their booking channel and/or email to complete a quick pre-check-in. Through that same link, you’ll find everything you need for your stay — including check-in instructions, Wi-Fi details, local recommendations, and more. Once check-in begins, the SuiteOp app provides instant access to the property within seconds. In the rare event of any issues, a backup lockbox with a physical key is available on-site. The Neighborhood: Location, location, location. Vesta Heights is a very safe, family-friendly neighborhood with 15 public schools in the city. The city of Fort Walton Beach has a strong military community with more than 6 military bases, camps and airfields in the immediate area. All of your favorite restaurants, is right down the street. Jet Drive Park is 100 meters away from the front door and includes a playground, open field, pickle ball and basketball courts. Getting Around: Getting around Fort Walton Beach is relatively easy, though public transportation options are somewhat limited. For the most convenience and flexibility, driving is the best way to explore the area. Rideshare services like Uber and Lyft are readily available and offer a reliable way to reach nearby destinations such as Downtown Fort Walton Beach, Okaloosa Island, and the surrounding attractions. Biking is also an option for shorter trips, and many roads in the area are bike-friendly. If you're planning to explore beyond the city or travel on your own schedule, a personal vehicle or rental car is highly recommended. Other Things to Note: All booking guests must submit a photo of their ID for verification, complete and sign the Ronin Stays Rental Agreement, fill out the check-in form, and choose either the damage waiver protection plan ($45) or a security deposit ($250) before receiving check-in instructions. Once these steps are completed, your personal check-in code will be sent one hour before your scheduled check-in time. To avoid any delays, please ensure these requirements are taken care of in advance. We’re happy to welcome your furry companions—all breeds, shapes, and sizes are accepted, with a maximum of 2 pets per reservation. This fee covers your entire stay and includes basic pet cleaning. All pets must be house trained, non-aggressive, and up to date on vaccinations. Please note that the pet fee covers standard cleaning; any excessive cleaning—such as indoor accidents, excessive pet hair on furniture, or damage—will result in additional charges. Our standard one-time pet fee is: \- $85 for up to 2 pets Ocean House has 2 driveways for plenty of parking. One single-lane driveway, located near the front door, can accommodate 2 large trucks and a double-lane driveway, located on the side of the house, can accommodate 4 large trucks. No parking on the grass. A propane grill is available for guest use, along with a standard propane tank. Please note that propane may be left over from previous guests but is not guaranteed or provided as part of your stay. If the tank runs empty, you can easily exchange it at nearby locations such as Walmart, Home Depot, or local gas stations for approximately $25. For your safety, this property has 2 exterior security cameras located at: \- Above the Front Door \- In the Backyard There are no cameras inside the house. These cameras are installed solely to help protect our guests and the property. To ensure the property remains in top condition, routine maintenance is performed on a scheduled basis. Lawn care occurs bi-weekly, and pest control treatments are completed quarterly. Our trusted vendors will not need access inside the property, but you may see them working in and around the exterior of the home during reasonable daytime hours. If interior access is ever required, guests will always be notified in advance. Please note: The nightly rate includes up to 6 guests. For groups larger than 6 (up to a maximum of 10 guests), there is an additional charge of $25 per guest, per night. This helps cover the extra utilities, cleaning, and general wear and tear. There were a few small glitches when we checked in, both of which Josh solved promptly and efficiently. We could not log onto the Wi-Fi network until we spoke with Josh on the phone, and he gave us the backup password. Also, we had trouble locking/unlocking the door until again Josh guided us through the process. My suggestion for explaining the process in the opening instructions would be as follows:“To open the door, use the electronic keypad that is installed on the door, not the manual one that is installed next to the door. Enter your 4-digit code, then press the Schlage button at the top, then turn the lock counterclockwise to open.To lock the door, again use the electronic keypad that is installed on the door, not the manual one that is installed next to the door. It was especially nice for our toddler to have everything she needed including a playpen, highchair, utensils, and toys. All the beach chairs and umbrellas were an additional bonus.
