Each unit at Waterscape is angled to maximize the breathtaking views of the Gulf of Mexico through the floor-to-ceiling glass doors and windows. With its great location, varied amenities and fun water features, Waterscape is unrivaled on the Emerald Coast in setting the scene for family fun. This 2 bedroom, 2.5 bath unit located on the 5th floor, offers a partial view of the Gulf of Mexico and the Okaloosa Island fishing pier. This well-appointed unit has 2 King Beds, 1 Queen Sofa Bed, and Bunk Beds and sleeps 8\. With 2 TVs, 2 DVD players, and a CD stereo system, you will enjoy all the comforts of home. Special features include granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, a washer/dryer in the home, and two master bathrooms with garden tubs. Things to Know Beach service is included from March to October. All registered guests staying at Waterscape will be required to wear the RFID wristbands provided. These wristbands are mandatory for access to all Waterscape amenities. The layout worked well for our family of 6\. The beach was fun and the two complimentary beach chairs was a blessing. The pool was amazing for my kids. The free DVDs kept them entertained during downtime. Overall we would come back. My two complaints were that the sofa bed mattress was really old and not in the best shape and the locks on two of the three bathrooms did not work (we told everyone they must knock each time!). ##### Michelle H. Jan 25, 2023 #### Not so great This was the 4th time I've stayed at Waterscapes and by far the worst. It may be because the condos are getting older? The lighting in this unit is horrendous, you literally cannot see a thing. The dryer was so loud it could have walked right out of the closet, in fact, it broke and we had to call to get it fixed. When the guy came to fix the dryer he set something heavy on the stove top and smashed the controls to the oven down I to the panel. Forget about doing makeup in the bathroom because you cannot see. The tvs are all old and need an upgrade. Your guests should have the options of streaming services, invest in a roku or Samsung TV, they are not that expensive. The entire place was too congested, not at all like other stays, you are constantly bumping into folks on the lazy river, dirty swim diapers left all over the place for days on end, and you might as well get used to taking the piss smelling stairs because you will wait an eternity for the elevator. The bunk room was my favorite room and all the mattresses were very comfortable. The furniture needs an update. One of the chairs was peeling pleather. The couch wasn’t very comfortable. One bedroom had stains on the carpet. But even that wasn’t much of a concern to us and it had everything we needed. The place was perfect for kids! They loved swimming in the pool and it was great to have a zero entrance pool for my two year old. They also really loved the splash area. The lazy river and close access to the beach was my favorite. The only gripe I have is people reserving pool & beach chairs/tables early in the morning and not using them until the afternoon. A bit inconsiderate and I wished pool/beach staff were more strict about rules. I stared at prime spots on the beach for hours with just towels reserving the chairs.
