"Marie worked closely with us. My reservation was a gift for my wife and our 45 anniversary.The house is beautifully decorated with furniture pieces from across the world. A path leads to a large wonderful saltwater indoor pool. The location is private and views of large pine trees.We spent 10 days there and left totally relaxed and recharged. I’ve used VRBO for years and this property is my number one choice. Anyone staying here will enjoy the peace and quiet. Sanctuary home is just that. Get in line, because this place is a gem that my Wife will return to for years"

"My husband, college-aged son, mother, and two sighthounds stayed at the Ocean Hideaway to escape the fourth of July fireworks. The location was amazing and private, with daily deer sightings and many types of birds to observe from the large windows overlooking the ocean. We stocked up on groceries ahead of time (with one visit to the Fort Ross store) and spent most of our visit hiking or hanging out and looking at the waves as they crashed against the rocks of the cove. This view was incredibly relaxing, particularly accompanied by the sound of the ocean, wind, and seabirds. Our dogs enjoyed the space, too, and the private street worked well for safe, leashed walks. One thing to keep in mind is that one of the bedrooms is a loft that is open to the living and kitchen/dining area, where sound can travel. This may be an issue if folks have different sleeping schedules. On the whole the entire family enjoyed the comforts of the house combined with the pleasures of the nature surrounding it."

"We had a great stay! The cottage was cozy and clean, check in process was simple and easy. Nice quiet spot on the creek. We were lucky to come in on a Friday when the bakery makes pizzas and has live music. Breakfast of fresh baked bread and pastries brought to our front door was absolutely delicious. "
