The one thing that bothered me about the stay was that the place wasn’t clean…. We didn’t realize how much of Fort Meyers Beach area was still damaged from last years hurricane. At first glance it seemed disappointing but we found that the bra wasn’t crowded. After talking with a cop we were told where to find free beach parking and he recommended a pizza place too. Learning that it used to take 2 years to book a place there made us appreciate that we could get around pretty quickly and there are some shops open.
