Welcome to Dolphin Beach Retreat, your unique place in paradise! This newly remodeled property is located mid-island with the beach access just steps across Estero Boulevard. A quiet relaxing location for that desired getaway, yet just a short walk along the beach is a kiosk for jet-ski rentals, parasailing rides, and even dolphin tours along a 7-mile stretch of white, sugary sand beach. Super convenient to the supermarket and an upscale bistro on the bay. Trolley service along the boulevard is available to transport you to Times Square, with all of its restaurants, clubs, and night life. The property has a fantastic lanai porch with ambient evening lighting that leads to the property entrance. The nicely furnished living area has comfy sofa, TV with Roku and YoutubeTV. Dining area finds a table seating 4, and a fully equipped kitchen. Everything is available that you would need to cook daily multi-course dinners, or simply make a pot of coffee in the morning. There are two beautifully decorated bedrooms. The master bedroom has a queen size bed, closet, and plenty of dresser space and an ensuite bathroom! The second bedroom has twin beds that can be pushed together to create a King. Downstairs common area has a washer and dryer. There's a propane grill that is shared. All lower levels have evening ambient lighting and privacy lattice work surrounds this area. You'll also find parking space accommodating 2 vehicles. There are many restaurants and shops a short drive north across the bridge towards south Fort Myers. The same is true if you drive south towards Bonita Beach. Water activities abound with fishing charters, scuba and snorkel adventures, jet ski rentals, para-sailing, etc. Fort Myers, Bonita Springs and Naples are all modern cities with plenty of shopping, dining and sight seeing to experience. The South West International Airport in Fort Myers is close by for convenience as well. Dogs restricted to 25 pounds or less, certain breeds restricted, and additional fees apply. It had everything we needed and more—super clean, well-stocked with extra bedding, and even some surprise beach toys and chairs for the kids, which made our beach days even better. The shared onsite laundry was easy to use and kept clean, so no issues there. The location is perfect—just a short walk to the beach and Publix, which was super convenient. Right behind Publix is a great little bar that we enjoyed for dinner (highly recommend going before 4:30 as it fills up fast!). Getting around was a breeze with golf cart rides available for just a few bucks per person (kids ride free!) to Times Square. Some floor tiles were coming up from the floor. Toaster caused the smoke alarm to go off when used. Place was clean and very convenient to the beach. Especially liked the ample room, good beds, basic kitchen, comfortable sofas, hot showers, generous towels, good AC, great open air screened in lanai, and location close to beach walks. Here are the potential negatives: Sliding glass door locks seem sketchy - bedroom one was hard to lock. We couldn't get the clothes washer to work. We tried a lot and even texted Dayla to get some advice, which she immediately relayed from the maintenance folks... but to no avail. I think you could post some directions. We ended up doing some hand washing, and then putting wet clothes in the dryer. Only other issue was the incredibly wimpy corkscrew. It broke in our hands. :-) Thanks again, Ed ##### Ed B.
