It is located on the desired north end of Estero Island between the Time Square area and Bowditch Park. The Condo is located on the third floor, perched over the beach, with views of a large, white, sandy beach and stunning evening sunsets over the Gulf of Mexico. It is a spacious unit with a fully equipped kitchen, living room, dining room, 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, and a screened balcony. The kitchen has a full size fridge, stove, and dishwasher. There is an 8 place setting of dishes, silverware, glasses, wine glasses, and coffee cups. The dining room table seats six comfortably. The living room has a queen size hide-a-bed and a TV. The Master bedroom has a king-size bed, a dresser, TV, and a walk-in closet. The other bedroom has two twin beds, a small dresser, and a large closet. There are beautiful views of the Gulf from the screened balcony, as well as the living room and the master bedroom. The resort onsite amenities include an elevator, free wireless Wi-Fi, a pool and spa, a tennis court with a basketball hoop, and a playground with shuffleboard. There are bicycles, grills, and a laundromat for everyone to use, as well. No smoking is allowed in the unit but there is a covered smoking area on the ground level. The north end of Estero Island, Fort Myers Beach, is the most desired location. One thing that makes it desirable is the fact that it is fairly quick to get on and off the island's north end. Once you get over the bridge to the island, it is a quick drive to the Windward Passage Resort. Other things are the several restaurants and shops located in the Time Square area, which are a very short stroll away. The north end is known as the quiet end because of very little traffic. Bowditch Park is also very close to the resort and has a beach, picnic tables, short walking paths, and a public restroom. There is also a lunch counter that is sometimes open. If you prefer not to walk or drive, you can take a trolley that goes from one end of the Island to the other. One of the trolley stops is right in front of the Windward Passage Resort. There are additional restaurants and attractions a short drive away. The Edison and Ford Homes are one of the attractions that is a must visit. They are open daily for tours. Our condo at the Windward Passage Resort is a timeshare week. Therefore, there is no cleaning fee after departure. During your stay, there is no daily cleaning services unless you request them for an extra charge. A free bedding and towel exchange is offered mid-week. The resort also offers activities and shared meals that you can participate in. The sign-up for these activities and meals are at the office on the ground level. Feb 7, 2018 #### A Lovely Break from Winter My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Windward Passage, located in a quiet and charming area of Fort Myers Beach. The condo isn't fancy but it was very clean, more spacious than we were anticipating and had a well-stocked kitchen. The large screened-in balcony, where we spent a lot of time, has plenty of room and beautiful gulf views. We also liked that we were within walking distance of the Times Square area and restaurants. The grounds are well-taken care of and there is a very nice heated pool. Owners are responsive and very nice to work with. We will definitely come back (Lord willing)! ##### Stephanie G. Jul 5, 2017 #### Great Location on the beach We had a very pleasant and comfortable stay at this very quiet resort that has a great location. It was right on the beach and close to several restaurants and shopping. There was a front office that was staffed with friendly and helpful people from 9 to 5 each day, except Sunday. The condo was clean, spacious, and simply decorated. The kitchen was well stocked except it did lack a hand mixer. However, we were able to borrow one from the office. The location of the resort was right on the beach and the pool was on the south side where there was sun shining all afternoon. A highlight of our evenings was watching beautiful sunsets from the balcony with a glass of wine in hand. There was a trolley available to take us from one end of the island to the other and even off the island, but we never used it. We walked the short distance to the Times Square area for an afternoon ice cream fix and shopping or later in the day for dinner at one of the many restaurants. It took us no more than 15 minutes to walk. Besides the north end of the island being quieter, it was much quicker to reach too. We drove to a restaurant located in the middle of the island and it took us forever to get there and then back again because of traffic. Traffic onto the island can be a bit of a frustration at times, but once we were over the bridge and through the time square area we quickly reach the Condo. We definitely would stay at this condo again.
