We did not rent a car and I'm glad we didn't because the parking is tough and expensive at the hotel. Pros: The room was clean and we thought the Nespresso machine was a nice touch in the room, the shower pressure was awesome, the pool overlooked the ocean and was clean. The cons would be: our room needed new mattresses as they were pretty uncomfortable, I wish the lobby bar had an espresso machine for an afternoon cup of coffee ( not a big deal, just a suggestion), there's a small shop in the lobby but the prices are outrageous. 10 for Pringles! Overall place was nice and we enjoyed our time. Also, if you decide not to rent a car, there is a free service that will pick you up around the hotel area and take you in around fort Lauderdale within a certain area. There is an app you can put on your phone and request pickup at a specific location and drop off. It was a really nice thing to learn about. ##### stephanie f. Took off one star for cleanliness (but we understand not the owners fault) and the unit is a little dated. It is definitely a family-friendly hotel. It was quiet every night, we did not hear any partying. We enjoyed the pool, it was perfect for our kiddo who spent hours every day in it. It was a bonus having the bar right at the pool for food and drinks. The beach and pool views from the room are amazing. The unit is a short walk to many restaurants and the Hugh Taylor Birch Park. The owner was great and he answered questions promptly. We would definitely return! ##### Renee H. I got extremely sick from the mold exposure and it took far too long for anything to be done about this. My room was finally changed after I already got very sick and ruined my entire vacation. Location was great with beach access including lounge chairs, towels, and a water bottle each day. The balcony overlooks the 5th floor pool deck and beach beyond offering beautiful sunrise views. Lots of great walkable restaurants in the area, and we really enjoyed the bikes available onsite for exploring further out areas. While the resort overall was very well kept, the cleaning of our room before arrival wasn't the best. I found garbage and other guest's items left under the bed and someone's contact lense on the bathroom floor. But overall, it was a great vacation getaway.. ##### K B.
