The cottage is located behind a gate and it has a separate entrance. We didn't see the owner, Oliver, but he was always quick to answer our questions and he wanted to ensure all was well. The cottage has been very renovated, and blends a historic site with modern style and conveniences. We also loved the historic Sailboat Bend neighborhood, convenient to Himmashee Village, the Broward Center and Las Olas and is a quick drive to the beach. There were a couple of minor issues in the beginning but the host responded immediately and everything was resolved. Oliver was gracious and offered a last minute discount and was extremely accommodating towards my parents. It is close to the Riverwalk area of Ft Lauderdale and Sailboat Bend is a historic and interesting area to walk around. Walked all over to restaurants shopping misc venue. The owner was very communicative and helpful. The house did not have many items available as I’m used to for a VRBO but it had all the basics and was clean and cozy. Oliver was great and thanks for the blow dryer! ##### Patti K. Oliver was such a great host, the property is also in an amazing location. I was staying in the property by myself and felt extremely safe. I loved my morning and evening walks in the neighborhood. The scenic Riverwalk is very close & I used it every day. Also a great place for dog owners. Big yard & parks literally across the street. The area is very dog friendly.
