Old Town and the CSU campus are both within walking distance. There is plenty of shops and restaurants nearby (the Bluebird is an awesome breakfast and lunch spot). The cottage was really clean and nicely decorated. The owners are very easy to communicate with and they truly want you to be happy while enjoying their little piece of Fort Collins. The only glitch was that we didn't drive to the house, so we entered from the sidewalk (not the alley) and then had to contact Lynne to get directions to the property itself (instead of one of the other buildings on the site). It was conveniently located close to CSU campus, Old Town and plenty of restaurants. We had all the amenities we needed to be comfy and sleep well! Lynn is a great Host and easy to communicate with. I stayed with my mom and gave her the downstairs bedroom. I slept in the loft, and was careful going up and down the spiral stairs, though they were adorable and a practical use of the space, they're not for anyone unsteady on their feet. The cottage is comfortable, clean, safe, quiet and smells good. The owners do an excellent job proving everything needed and some that we didn't consider like rain jackets, bikes, outdoor fire pit, etc. This is a perfect place for couples or those traveling with small children. The kitchen does not have a stove or oven but there's a George Forman grill, skillet, BBQ and other amenities. The location is excellent and walking distance to CSU.
