A private home cinema with a 108-inch screen and powerful sound system, along with a personal library of around 1,200 books, promises an exceptional vacation. Underfloor heating, an XXL bathtub, a walk-in shower, and a starry sky in the bedroom make dreams come true. Details: The holiday apartment "Cinema" is housed in the former village school of Forst (Eifel), situated between a church and the former rectory. It features approximately 105m² of living space and a private garden of around 360m² with a barbecue area for exclusive use. The interior, fully renovated in 2024, includes a bedroom (approximately 14m²) with a double bed (1.8x2m) and a spacious bathroom (approximately 9m²) with a walk-in shower, large corner bathtub for two, and a washing machine. The open living concept includes a fully equipped kitchen (approximately 15m²) and a dining and living area (approximately 66m²) that boasts a home cinema with a 108-inch screen, laser projector, and powerful Teufel 5.1 sound system, as well as a private library with around 1,200 books. The entire living area has underfloor heating and Wi-Fi. The room lighting can be freely chosen in warm white or RGB via remote control. From the apartment, you have direct access to the large, enclosed garden with seating and a barbecue area, which is available for your exclusive use. Parking spaces are available in the courtyard, along with the option to charge an electric car and store bicycles. Within about half an hour, you can visit highlights such as Eltz Castle, Cochem and Pyrmont Castle, the Eifel maars, the Geierlay suspension bridge, Laacher See, Genovevaburg in Mayen, or the castles in Manderscheid. You can reach Koblenz with the Deutsches Eck, the Ehrenbreitstein Fortress, and the lively city center in about 45 minutes along the panoramic route along the Moselle (about 30 minutes via motorway) by car or train from Treis-Karden. Germany's oldest city, Trier, is about 1 hour away. Forst (Eifel) is located between Koblenz, Cochem, the Nürburgring, and Daun in the Vordereifel. Forst has about 400 inhabitants and is the center of the so-called "Forster Kirchspiel", a former parish and court district. A charming apartment with a spacious open kitchen and a lovely garden with veranda for when it rains. A day of rest isn't punishment either with the home cinema system, which has awesome sound!A very hospitable welcome; our late arrival was no problem. Angefangen von der sehr herzlichen Begrüßung bis hin zu den unendlichen Aufmerksamkeiten in der Wohnung. Von der Zahnbürste bis zur Not-Mahlzeit (falls man spät anreist und tatsächlich nichts zu essen dabei hat, stehen Nudeln und zwei Sorten Soße bereit). Die Senseo ist mit 6 Sorten bestückt, überall liegen Gummibärchen und Süßigkeiten zur Begrüßung. Aber auch Äpfel und Bananen waren da. 😉 Das Bad mit Dusche und großer Eck Badewanne lässt keine Wünsche offen, die Küche ist mehr als ausreichend ausgestattet. Sogar die Messer sind scharf. Der Fernsehbereich ist mit Beamer und 5.1 Anlage von Teufel bestückt, dazu eine Bibliothek mit geschätzt 300 Büchern. Ein Gartenbereich mit Grill, Liegen, Außendusche usw. steht auch noch zur Verfügung. Für Kinder sogar mit Sandkasten und Schaukel. Wie die Überschrift schon sagt: Perfekt! ##### Peter R.
