"Ayung resort was beautiful secluded resort with stunning views. Rooms were very comfortable and clean. Staff were so helpful and friendly and go above and beyond to make your stay perfect. The restaurant on the property was excellent. They were very friendly and the food was exceptional. The only suggestion I have is they need a little bodega on the property for snacks and essential items guests may have forgotten. We loved staying there and will be back! Thank you for making our first trip to Bali memorable. "

"Excellent stay! Highly recommend! The resort is perfect if you’re looking for a quiet and relaxing stay. Dimas was so helpful and took care of us and made sure everything was perfect. He provided lots of helpful suggestions on activities to do and your suggestions. Super responsive. He even helped get us some extra of our favorite fruits. Gede was an amazing tour guide. He took us on the rice field bike tour, and we loved him so much, we went on a full day tour with him the next day to visit the rice terrace, water temple, and a waterfall. Insta hubby material! We also learned so much about Bali culture and traditions from him. Inspirational man. We will definitely come back and stay for longer!"

"Horrible! The pictures were clearly never updated since the opening of the hotel. The pool was not maintained or cleaned. The free breakfast was not on site. You would need to take a shuttle bus to a second location for breakfast or have room service but run the risk of your food being cold. We were greeted with a welcome drink and I immediately noticed that my glass was not clean. I was hesitant to drink from it, but the staff kept insisting that we try it. Which sadly I did. I was then asked to pay for our 6 days, 5 nights stay, which I thought was another red flag. But, I didn't want to be offend anyone and I paid for our stay. My credit card was yanked out of my hand. When we got to our room, there was an immediate septic tank smell. The lighting was dim and not adequate for the size of the room. There were no trash bins anywhere. The bathroom shower curtains had stains. The toilet stopped working throughout the night. The bathroom had one glass shutter window allowing lizards and mosquitoes to enter. My friend and did not sleep all night. I was itching from the bed sheets and left with a rash. My friend and I both got Bali belly. My symptoms progressed into a fever and bronchitis. We spent less than 24 hours in this hotel and immediately left 8 am the next morning. Our last week in Bali was spent in bed in a new hotel, recovering from our experience at this hotel. I asked about getting a refund and they gave every excuse to not compensate us. I'm trying to fight this!"

"We loved our stay at the Pramana Watu Kurung! The hotel and villas are absolutely beautiful and staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included in our booking and was delicious and generous. We would definitely book again. "

"Kappa Senses is an excellent property. I loved my stay with them. The rooms are stunning - I was in a private villa. The food was delicious and I appreciated that there were gluten free options available. The staff and the service were fantastic and they went above and beyond everyday - even running after me to return my Louis Vuitton wallet filled with cash and cards that I somehow left as I was checking out. I’d definitely stay here again if I were to ever return to ubud. The only things I’d note for other travelers to consider would be that if you are looking for zen, there were children around so a private villa would be the way to go. I also wasn’t expecting so many people to be smoking and would’ve loved a smoke-free area at dinner and by the pools. The resort is also just off the main road in Bali which is quite busy and dangerous to walk along so you will need transportation into/around ubud (the hotel provides a shuttle). "
