The staff was so kind and accommodating; we arrived at around midnight and the front desk was kind enough to still sell us waters , then we woke up late and missed breakfast, but the kind lady there still made us a delicious fresh breakfast since there was no one else around. "The TRYP by Wyndham Cuenca Zahir far exceeded any expectations that my wife and I could imagine. The room was immaculate and beautifully appointed. The hotel is centrally located with many shopping opportunities, and the Pumapungo ruins (a bit of a hike, but not bad) within walking distance. A wide variety of traditional Ecuadorian and international cuisine is also available within walking distance or via restaurant delivery services similar to those in the U.S. All of the above pales in comparison, however, to the staff of the TRYP by Wyndham Cuenca Zahir. Every member of every team, from concierge, to wait staff to housekeeping, is warm, welcoming and courteous. John, who works in the restaurant, kept us drinking and eating without wait. He was a rad guy and I will consider him a friend for life. Many staff members are multi-lingual and all staff members seem genuinely happy to help with any questions. We did not have one negative experience at the TRYP by Wyndham Cuenca Zahir. We would have stayed forever!"

"Stayed here for one night and was very impressed. Johan was the front desk guy/manager and was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the balcony offered a spectacular view of the river and mountains. Breakfast in the morning was delicious, fresh, and plentiful. I would absolutely recommend La Cas Verde!"
