In this secluded setting between Guerneville and Forestville, you'll have a sunny stone patio, ample space for unwinding in the forest grove, and a hot tub to soak in beneath starry skies. This single-story cabin is tucked away on 1.6 acres among the redwoods, making it a wonderful spot for birding, unplugging, and finding a bit of peace and relaxation. Yet the location is also incredibly convenient to Russian River access on Odd Fellows Park Road (one mile), the iconic Korbel Winery (two miles), downtown Guerneville's great restaurants (less than three miles), Johnson's Beach (three miles), and Armstrong Woods (five miles). The outdoor space is something special, from the cornhole setup in the shade of the redwoods to the stone patio with a gas grill for evening barbecues. It's the perfect spot to sip morning coffee with a valley view or savor a glass of local wine at sunset. The interior is stylishly decorated, with large windows that fill the house with sunlight and views of the forest. Cook with ease in a darling kitchen with every essential. Play board games at the dining room table with a movie playing in the background. Or, challenge loved ones on the Xbox One or retro video game. And, with Youtube TV, you'll have access to live and local channels. A separate Nut Nook on the grounds provides a great space to escape with a good book on breezy afternoons. Things to Know There is no washer/dryer. Check-in time: 4:00 PM. Check-out time: 10:00 AM. All guests shall abide by Vacasa’s good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises. There is a strict limit of 4 people total for this home where children are counted in the total. This is set by the County of Sonoma and violations can lead to a large fine. The wood stove is out of service. There is a note on the woodstove to remind guests of this since it is a potential fire hazard. If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 3 vehicles. Please note: this home resides in a noise-sensitive area and the owners participate in our Good Neighbor protection program. While it is on the small side, its perfect for 2 people, perhaps even a small family. The small "reading" cabin with the chair is nice if needed. Beautiful location in the woods among the trees, total silence. The chained driveway is nice for feeling secluded. Great hot tub. The area of the property with chairs and the small propane fireplace is also very nice, although we did not use the fire.
