The room was excellent. Big and comfortable with everything you’d need. The pub itself is quite run down and they don’t serve breakfast midweek which wasn’t confirmed at booking. Forest Row itself has a few places to eat but it’s not a place for more than a night. That being said I think I’d take another single night there in the future for the good location for travel in the area, comfy room and cheap price.

The building has so much history and I loved the vibe. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Big shout for the young lady behind the bar who was always smiling and helpful

Loved our stay here! Can’t fault the accommodation at all. Only thing to note is that breakfast would have been cheaper had we not booked it in advance.

Very friendly staff and locals. Room.was spacious and WiFi was great for work. Bar had a really nice local atmosphere and very welcoming. Assistant manager and lady on her 1st day were super helpful. Guiness was decent.

The guy that checked us in and out was very friendly and helpful but rest of staff weren’t, any questions we asked were answered with don’t know! The room was ok the carpet smelt and the blinds on the windows didn’t work. The shower gel was empty and didn’t get filled up while we were there. Our room was right next to the fan for the kitchen so there was a horrible smell and was noisy. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

Good sized room and bathroom. Surprisingly quiet as it is on the main road. Only problem was that they have stopped serving breakfast - only brunch after 12 noon. The local cafes were OK but only offered cooked breakfast items; for yoghurt, croissants etc it had to be Tesco next door.

No Breakfast available It was in the hot period of our summer, there is no air conditioning just a fan that was pointless, with the windows open it was very noisy, although they did supply ear plugs which was a giveaway.. I only got 3 hours sleep…

Jättefina rum och personalen var både hjälpsam och trevlig. Dock är frukosten först kl 10 i form av en brunch meny och det ställde till det lite. Hade varit önskvärt och det gick att erbjuda en mindre frukost tidigare på morgonen. Annars var hotellet väldigt bra och mysigt, för det finns bara 6 rum.

As we arrived to check in the lady was lovely and took us to our room and explained if we needed anything to let her know, which was a lovely. The room was unique as it is in a pub and it did have an en-suite with a shower. The only down side is the sink is low down and you can hit your head on the shelf that is attached to the mirror. We did not try the breakfast But overall we had a great stay.

Decent enough Pub and accommodation however the room was a bit tired and is in need of refurbishment! There were big dints in the walls and damaged skirting boards! No wardrobe - just some hooks on the wall and clothes hangers!! Had a few beers and some food and I'm afraid that the service was generally poor on both counts! And that was despite being charged 12% for service when ordering and paying at the bar!!! It took the waitress 3 attempts before I had food, cutlery and the condiments I had requested! Overall - not terrible but also not great!

Its a pub with rooms, bit tired around the edges. Good food in bar. Not great if you are unsready on your feet as old building and uneven floors in the rooms. Access out of pub hours not easy via a very hard to open fire exit to a rear yard and down a narrow set of metal stairs, wouldnt fancy it in the dark. Need to take more care cleaning as trod on glass in the bathroom. As i started its pub with rooms and overpriced for what it is.
