« As described! Safe neighborhood, nice access to Iron Range activities. We were here for biking and had the shuttle drop us in Marble and we biked back; next day biked past Embarrass and shuttled back. Perfect! Ate in two nights and it worked great. I can’t overstate how clean it was. Oh…I brought an air mattress because, well, sleeper sofa, but the mattress on the sleeper was great! Highly recommended »

If you want to get away from it all, this is the place. Birders, this is located in the bog with great birds waiting right outside your door! « We had an excellent stay. We had basically 5 adults and a toddler and never felt crowded. Everyone had fun at the lake. We spent most of our time running around visiting family so it was nice to have a relaxing place to come back to.We had a short power outage and both Carrie and Andrew were quick with communications and keeping us informed when it was expected to be back on. »

« This was a fantastic rental property for a week near Duluth and the MN North Shore. After a summer full of kids' activities, we were looking for a beautiful place to unwind and this was the perfect place. The house is very well-kept and had everything we needed to be there for the week. The outdoor spaces were incredible and family favorite. They were many to choose from and all were comfortable with beautiful scenery at every turn. We feel lucky to have found this gem and would stay here...

« This was the perfect place for our family of 9! It's better than the pictures! The yard and lake are great for days of fun, plus we drove to the iron mine one day and North Shore Drive another. The cabin was comfortable and had all that was needing for a relaxing stay. We loved the loons and the friendly squirrel. We even saw a bear near Makinen! »
