The house has a ground floor open plan kitchen and dining area which is great for chilling out with family and friends, and a first floor sitting room with cosy wood burner. There are also two bedrooms and a bathroom. Folkestone Terrace is a great place to stay whilst exploring the thriving coastal town of Folkestone. The harbour and beach are a 10-minute walk away, passing by the Creative Quarter for a spot of shopping. The Creative Quarter is a short walk from the harbour and offers many art galleries, boutique shops and craft stores. Folkestone is a thriving coastal town, with a long maritime history. The harbour arm has been transformed into a tourist hotspot with cafes, a champagne bar and other great food outlets. The harbour itself is home to seafood stalls and an excellent seafood restaurant with sea views. And of course, there is the long golden sandy beach and rock pools to enjoy to the east side of the harbour and shingle beaches located to the west. You can walk to the harbour and high street in no time at all. The apartment itself was spotlessly clean and had everything I needed for my short stay in Folkestone.
