Oltrarno, also known as "Diladdarno", is located on the left side of the Arno river, and is part of the historic center of Florence. It includes famous neighborhoods such as Santo Spirito and San Frediano. Monuments, gardens and palaces unique in the world, such as Palazzo Pitti, the Basilica of Santo Spirito, the Boboli garden with the workshops of artisans, goldsmiths and restorers, make this area the place where old Florence still lives. Located on the second floor (third floor in the American system) without lift, the apartment offers its guests an intimate and youthful atmosphere. This apartment offers many services and spaces that meet the needs of those who want to feel at home even away from home. Four bedrooms: three spacious bedrooms that can be used with two single or one double bed and one more bedroom with a comfortable single bed (1.2 m). Two bathrooms: one with a bathtub, shower, bidet and sink, dryer, washing machine and iron, the other a full bathroom with shower, sink and bidet and also equipped with an anteroom with two sinks and hairdryer. A bright living room with LED TV, home theater, CD - DVD player with a small collection available for guests, two comfortable sofas, a fully equipped kitchen and a large table that will allow you to enjoy moments of relaxation. All bedrooms are air conditioned. Free internet WI-FI is everywhere! Parking in the garage nearby with discounted rates (opening hours 8-24). Paid parking not reserved on the street. Ask in advance for details. The apartment is easily accessible by car, because just outside the ZTL camera (limited traffic zone), by public transport (you can take only one bus) or on foot 10-15 minutes from the central station of Santa Maria Novella. The apartment is equipped with a hand sanitizing dispenser located at the entrance. The initial cleaning of the apartment will be carried out by well-trained operators on all the required health procedures. Ponte Vecchio is about a 15 minute walk along the river. From the "Soderini" stop, five minutes on foot, you can take the bus to reach Piazzale Michelangelo, one of the best tourist sights in the city. The tourist tax is to pay cash on arrival. Its amount depends on the age of the guests and the length of the sta, and is not included in the price. Diffent time check in/out, if possible, may require an extra charge. Hors de la zone de restriction de circulation du centre ville, vous pourrez accéder à l'appartement en voiture puis vous garer dans l'un des parkings privés très proches. A recommander sans modération. Florence est environ à 1 heure de voiture de Sienne et de Pise. L'appartement est spacieux , lumineux, confortable et très propre. Les 2 salles de bain ainsi que les 4 chambres sont grandes et très bien équipées. L'appartement est idéalement situé . A 5mn de l'arrêt de bus, ou à 20 mn à pied du centre. Juste en bas, il y a de bons restaurants, un primeur, un charcutier et une boulangerie. Nous avons pu nous garer facilement dans les rues proches de l'appartement grâce au badge (payant) de stationnement. Cet hébergement nous a permis de découvrir la si belle ville de Florence ainsi que de balader en Toscane notamment à Sienne. Merci à Andréa qui nous a donné toutes les indications par mail ; merci également à Leila qui nous a accueilli très gentiment. Bref un séjour merveilleux ; nous espérons pouvoir revenir ! He provided a great deal of information to us prior to arrival. His information booklet was a terrific help. We loved the neighbourhood. The coffee shop (Manly's) right outside the apartment has a perfect espresso, while just down the street is a slew of delicious places to eat, or get your hair done, or have gelato, or buy some groceries. This home was the best place we stayed in by far. It is beautifully decorated and more impressive in person than the photos. Stayed with friends and we all said “wow” when we walked through it. It is a great size with 4 good sized bedrooms and two bathrooms.Andrea thought of everything one could wish for as a home away from home. Sibilla was wonderful and both were prompt with their communication. Location is a short walk from busy Florence & train station.The price is so affordable and can’t be beat. Nice to stay a bit from the crowds. Very walkable location.Several restaurants/cafes were on the same street as well which was convenient. Our host had everything ready for us when we arrived and a binder full of information about the area and the apartment. We had a party of 6 adults and stayed for 11 days in May 2025\. It was the perfect location! There was a bakery across the street, a grocery store around the corner, a bus station close by, and a gelato shop we would stop for a snack on our way back to the apartment every afternoon. It is on the 3rd floor, and the stairs were manageable even after being on our feet all day sightseeing. So many wonderful restaurants in close proximity for walking that we ate at most of them twice for dinners during our stay. We did not have a car for this trip and used public transportation the entire stay. The bus routes were easily learned and very economical. We were able to plan side trips out of the city thanks to the proximity to the main train station. The apartment was spacious, clean, had a washer and dryer, and the a/c worked beautifully for cooling off. We all agreed that if we ever returned to Florence, we would book again for all the amenities. Thank you, Andrea for a fantastic vacation in Florence Italy! ##### Tom C. Andrea is very personable and responsive and clear with communication. The check-in and checkout processes are simple and efficient. My group loved the location. It’s an easy and direct 15-20 min walk to city center but there are many bars, restaurants and shops near the apartment as well. There is a coffee maker in the apartment, but we chose to visit the coffee shop right next door each morning due to the friendly staff and good coffee. Plenty of places to eat locally alongside many Italians who eat there too! Only a 15 minute walk from the train station and 20 minutes to ponte vecchio.
