Enjoy a spacious floor plan with a large kitchen, living room, and private detached apartment. The large master suite has a king bed, Bedroom #2 has a queen bed, The sitting room has a queen sleeper futon as well as a Foosball table for the entire family to enjoy, the detached apartment has a queen bed, private bathroom, and a kitchenette. The large deck out back is perfect for enjoying the outdoors with a large private yard to watch your kids or pets play. Coastal Dunes Escape sleeps 8 comfortably and the kitchen has everything you will need to prepare your favorite meals while making memories. Beachcombing, ATV’s, sandboarding, dune buggies, horseback riding, kite flying and long sandy walks are a few of the most popular beach and water activities that are available. Bring your kayaks and canoes and paddle through quiet estuaries along the north shores. Don't forget your fishing gear, Woahink Lake is located just south of Florence and is one of over 27 lakes in and around the Florence area and is known for trophy fish. Bring your quads and sand toys and have a fantastic time at the sand dunes just a few minutes drive. Visit Old Town Florence and explore the wonderful bistros, restaurants, galleries, and shops along Bay Street. Just ten minutes north along the coast you’ll find fun in the sun and surf at fabulous Heceta Beach, and of course don’t forget to visit the world famous and most photographed lighthouse, Heceta Head Lighthouse. Just South of the lighthouse is the world famous Sea Lion Caves. Coastal Dunes Escape is located just a short drive from two world class golf courses, the Ocean Dunes and the Florence Golf Links Golf Courses. What’s nearby: This home is a quick drive from multiple access points to the Oregon Dunes and ocean beaches including the popular access just out South Jetty Road, and the city of Florence is five miles north. The charming Old Town section of the city is filled with lovely shops, cafes, galleries, and restaurants. You will also be minutes from numerous trailheads for hiking or mountain biking. The coastal forests flourishing in Douglas fir and Sitka spruce extend nearly to the Ocean. Some trails wind up, over, and through sand dunes, offering hikers the opportunity to experience the unique natural wonders of this area. Bring your camera! Paddle Siltcoos River between Siltcoos Lake and the Pacific Ocean. This slow-moving, three-mile river is so ideal for paddlers that it’s a designated Canoe Trail. Take a scenic drive up Hwy 101 to Heceta Head Lighthouse where free tours are offered daily. Right on the lake and would fit the team. The detached apartment though had a very poor smell and though it looked as they were putting a new roof on, it was not done and it was leaking through the ceiling. The grandparents joined us and worked great with the additional adu. If you want to spend time outside, bring some chairs as outside seating is limited.
