Maria Apartment - Elegance and charm in the center

The apartment is on the first floor of an elegant Florentine building in Via del Moro. Access to the floor with elevator or stairs, as you prefer.
From the entrance that you share with another apartment you can access yours; both apartments have a separate entrance and therefore their privacy.
The apartment has a fully equipped kitchen / living room, a bathroom with shower, a very elegant bedroom and two large single beds on the mezzanine, all open space.
VERY IMPORTANT
- We have the self check in so after the booking you will receive mail with all the access details;
- you will have to pay the tourist tax of € 3 per person per night, it will be € 4 per person per night from January 1, 2020 as per current legislation

L’appartement était très bien situé toutefois un peu de peinture de rafraîchissement serait nécessaire. Les indications pour le chauffage n’étaient pas très claires. Maria fut d’une grande aimabilité !

The apartment was very clean and cozy. The location was in a great spot and close to many notable locations. I thought the check in process could’ve improved, mainly by requesting guest information well ahead of the day of check in.

The location is great, walking distance to all attractions. Clean rooms. The upstairs is a nice extension, and can sleep three people. The host is very responsive to any questions.

Bare minimum

While the location was good and the unit was clean, getting access was very confusing. Fortunately for us after a 22 hour trip to get to Florence a neighboring rental couple came along and helped us get in. The hall way was dark and there are two step transitions that you can’t see. It would be very helpful to have the keys labeled and the doors identified. There was no living room area just the kitchen table. The sleeping areas up above the one bedroom is open to below. Not optimal. As the light shines thru so you can’t sleep. The single bed sleeping areas was open to the kitchen below and I had to duck so that I didn’t hit my head. The spiral staircase was difficult and so narrow. I felt the unit was misrepresented by previous guests in the comments.

Great Location, Clean, Comfortable

We really enjoyed staying at Maria's apartment. It is in a great location between Piazza Santa Maria Novella and the Arno River. The apartment is very clean and provided everything we needed for a family of 4 and 6-nights stay. We loved the interior decorations! Two big advantages for staying here: elevator for the luggage and air conditioning! Maria was fantastic at communicating. Only advise to international travellers, please make sure you have cell and data upon arrival so that communication is easier. Also, I'm learning to use Whatsapp which is key for communicating. Thank you for a wonderful stay! We hope to return someday soon!

Amazing trip in Florence, italy

We had amazing trip in Florence, Italy. Mrs. Maria is really nice to answer my questions and even book taxis for my family to Florence airport earlier morning 4 AM. Her apartment is cozy and beautiful, easy access to all museums, cathedral and restaurants etc. I will highly recommend to stay at Mrs. Maria apartment.

Good location. Clean but no privacy for guests.

Good communication with host.The property was very clean and is in a good location and walkable to major sites. However, our check-in time was for 3 PM, but we could not check in until 4 pm because the apartment was not ready. Host let us keep our luggage in the foyer until it was ready. The beds were comfortable, however, the upstairs had a large ceiling beam that two of us hit our head on. The loft and the downstairs bedroom were separated by a sheer curtain. So there is no privacy for anyone staying in the downstairs bedroom. There is no living room. Overall, a decent stay.

Great location!

We had a nice stay at this apartment. The location is great for walking to many of the popular spots. One flight of stairs up to the flat, but there is also an elevator. The virtual key access was tricky for me as my cell signal wasn’t great in the alley, but the cleaning person was able to let me in so I could get the keys. We had no issues with the keys. It was easy to contact the property manager.
