Stick your head out the window, and you'll see the Duomo. Just a few blocks the other way is Palazzo Vecchio. Coming into Florence, we were able to walk from the train station with no issue. There is no elevator, which was not a problem for my group, and actually kind of felt more authentic, but just something to keep in mind if you do have a ton of luggage. With a peak out the window you could enjoy the fresh air with a view of the duomo. Check-in and check-out was very easy. For visiting the historical center of Florence, the location cannot be beat. The apartment was clean and organized. We did not try the pull out sofa but the upstairs bed was very comfortable. The air conditioning worked well. It was nice to open the big windows in the living room and look out at the charming street. Communication with Sweetstay was excellent and they were very nice when I accidentally locked the keys in the apartment. I recommend this apartment for a stay in Florence. ##### Joy F. We were grateful to have a washer and a king size bed (2 twins together). However, property really needs updating as much of the unit is worn and feels dingy; bathroom mildew, worn furniture finishes and covers, engineered floors torn and separating, bedding is older. It was not as I hoped it would be. I could tell it had been cleaned, though. There is a fair amount of street noise which is expected, but a Wednesday night party next door went on nearly all night. Communications from the property management comes mostly from outside of VRBO app with contracts and expectations for the renter.
