The history of the building was fun and the redo was gorgeous. The hosts had thought of everything. When us old folks had trouble getting the TV on the station we wanted to watch a sports event, Marian, the manager, was there within minutes. We are looking forward to staying many more times. Florence was right outside our door and don’t miss shopping or eating there. Everything was better than advertised. ##### Carol N. Location was perfect for our trip to see the total solar eclipse on April 8, 2024\. Downtown Florence has cute shops for unique gifts, a nice restaurant, and a fun bar with good food. There is a little market for your groceries, a coffee shop/tap house, and an eclectic antique shop, all walking distance. Quiet neighborhood and plenty of room for the whole family. It was just the two of us so we had plenty of room to spread out. Stairs were not an issue for us and there is even a spacious laundry room. I can’t say enough good things about our stay and if we are ever back in the area we would totally stay here again. Communication with host was excellent. Check out Kevin’s Place for drinks with the locals and Salado Creek Saloon was a friendly spot for drinks and has live music. Close to Georgetown, Liberty Hill, and many sweet small towns. People we met were so friendly and welcoming. ##### Stacey L. It was clean and nicely furnished. Super convenient to only have to drive 6 mins to class. It is close to a highway and Main Street so there is some road noise, but we didn't find it any worse than staying in a hotel. The host was responsive to questions. It was an open floor plan in a renovated building. Beautiful exposed brick and incredible kitchen. Rooms and bathrooms were clean. We loved the location, right in the quaint center of Florence where there are adorable shops and an awesome coffee shop. Also right off the highway and down the road from the Vineyard where our daughter was getting married. I wish I had a few more days there. ##### Beth K.
