The apartment is on the 1st floor without elevator (about 20 steps) and accommodates up to 4 guests. It features two bedrooms — one double bedroom with ensuite bathroom and one twin bedroom — a second guest bathroom, a living area with dining space, and a fully equipped kitchen. Its central location allows easy travel on foot or by public transport, making it an ideal base for exploring Florence and Tuscany. The public bus service in Florence is provided by "Ataf". The nearest bus stop to the house is in front of Santa Maria Novella Station about 5 minutes walking distance, and the line is called Tramvia n° T1 "VILLA COSTANZA → CAREGGI OSPEDALE". Otherwise it is always possible to call a taxi calling one of these numbers: +39 0554242 or +39 0554390. The apartment is located near the piazza of Santa Maria Novella. This area of Florence is a 20 minute walk to the main cultural attractions such as the Uffizi Gallery, the Duomo, the Bargello Museum, Piazza della Signoria, and Palazzo Vecchio. The area is mainly residential so there is a variety of grocery stores, bakeries, supermarkets, restaurants, bars, and cafes. In the area you will also find Stazione Leopolda, Florence’s former railway station which has been converted into a vibrant exhibition hall used for events such as craft fairs, television and fashion shows, as well as for cultural and business meetings. Florence city centre is a ZTL zone which means a “limited traffic zone” and therefore special rules apply to when you can enter this area. This particular apartment is in fact located within the ZTL zone so this means that if you are thinking of coming to Florence by car and wish to drive around and park, then you will need to pay special attention to the road signs, CCTV cameras and access cameras (they will show either a red/green light) in order to avoid receiving fines. Guests who need to travel within the ZTL zone by car to reach their apartment are advised to contact a private garage. Thanks to the private garage you will obtain a temporary access permit. We walked to everything we wanted to see. The space was suitable for 4 people. I appreciated the living room, which allowed me to get up and work on my computer while others were sleeping. The only negative thing is the bathtub/shower, which is a bit of a fall hazzard. ##### Tim G.
