Heaven Bound is situated majestically, ridge top between Boone and West Jefferson, near the Blue Ridge Parkway and historic Todd! Plenty of space to unwind on the front covered porch with 4 rockers and New River views. Large covered and uncovered back deck with Adirondacks, porch swing, and 5 burner gas grill for cooking out. Inside, the vaulted great room offers plenty of seating and a 42 inch HDTV with surround sound, DVD, VCR, & 6 disc CD changer. Cuddle up next to the fire on the cozy loveseat and enjoy your favorite movie. Kitchen completely equipped with ice-maker, dishwasher, toaster, coffee maker and everything you need for a quick snack or an elegant meal. 6 person dining table and breakfast bar. High chair also provided along with various board games for children and adults. Master bedroom offers full private bath and Satellite TV. Second master also offers full bath. From the front porch you can see the new river. Its about 30 minutes to boone and about 30 minutes to Jefferson/west JeffersonThe hot tub is outside with no direct access to the inside so you have to walk back up the hill to re-enter. The house is an older house which could use a little updating, but was extremely clean and comfortable. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is that the hot tub is down stairs with nowhere to dry off or get to a bathroom without going up two flights of stairs and through the house. Both bathrooms have tub/shower combos which would not be suitable for older people or those with balance issues. The views from this house are incredible!
