Our neighborhood is the perfect blend of convenience and charm, making it the ideal getaway destination Walking distance to downtown! This vintage, two-story cottage is conveniently located about a half mile from Historic Downtown Flagstaff. With a premiere location and historic ambiance, one can not help but feel the warmth and charm of this picturesque home. This cottage is located just across the street from Thorpe Park. This comfy, cozy gem is a perfect getaway for a 6-person retreat to Flagstaff, Arizona. The home has a spacious combination living room/dining-room (seats 6) and is beautifully furnished with the perfect mix of old and new. Relax with family and friends on the couch and loveseat that encircle the Smart-TV mounted above the decorative fireplace (not for use at this time). Admire the recently restored, original oak hardwood floors that cover the majority of the first level. Enjoy the view of Thorpe Park through the large picture window. The open kitchen with original tile is well appointed with a variety of items for cooking delicious meals. There is a glass cooktop stove with oven, a refrigerator, and a microwave, as well as a large crockpot and a rice cooker. A dedicated workspace with an adjustable height desk is nestled in the light filled kitchen nook. The master bedroom, located on the lower level, offers a queen size bed with a large dresser, spacious closet, SmartTV and en-suite bathroom. This early 20th century bathroom is equipped with original tile. There is also a tub/shower combination and vintage sink. The upstairs bedroom has a queen bed, a TV, and en-suite bathroom with shower. A large patio in the backyard includes a propane grill and a retro dining table and chairs, perfect for enjoy the fantastic climate of Flagstaff. The one car garage is for guest use and there are two additional spaces for parking in the driveway. There is street parking, but it is not permitted during the winter (November to April.) 1 Gig internet!!! Not sure why AirBnB test only shows it at 340 Mbps, but I've added a screenshot of my phone connected, and it shows it at 1.2 Gig! Check out the photos Guests will have use of the entire home except for a few locked closets. The home is located about a half mile from Historic Downtown Flagstaff, where you find award winning restaurants, coffee and pastry shops, bars, art galleries, specialty shopping, local tours and wine tasting stores. All within walking distance! Be sure to visit the Flagstaff Visitor Center located in the historic train station. Guest registration is required. A $300 security hold will be placed on your card shortly before check-in. We have a few rules which we’d like to let you know about. We know rules are boring, but we’d really appreciate if you could have a quick read. #1 – Shoes Off • We ask that you please do not wear shoes while inside the house. Thank you so much! #2 – Pets • For the consideration and safety of our cleaners and future guests with allergies please do not bring pets onto the property. We reserve the right to charge a fee for any clean up or remediation. #3 – No Smoking, No Vaping, No Recreational Drug Use • Our house is a drug-free, smoke-free, and vape-free property. This means no smoking, no vaping, or recreational drugs inside or outside of the home. We reserve the right to charge a fee for any clean up or remediation. #4 - Number of Guests • Ensure total guests matches that on your booking. If you have more guests than what you have booked for, you will not be covered under insurance coverage of the platform you used to book, and you may be charged an extra fee. This is bad for everyone! #5 – No Parties • Please respect our neighbors. This is a residential working neighborhood that is quiet in the evenings. Noise levels must be minimal after 9PM. There is a noise level city ordinance and we do not want any complaints. Violation of this will result in one or more of the following; termination of your reservation, forfeiting security deposit, and/or a possible fee. We must respect the peace of the community. Thank you for understanding! #6 - Please Clean Up Dishes • If you use any dishes during your stay, the cleaning team would be extremely grateful if you would clean them. This would be of great help. #7 - Check Out is 10AM • Our cleaning team will arrive shortly after 10AM to clean the property. We can’t stop them, they are a cleaning machine! (You may request a late check-out. Please submit your request no later than 24 hours before your check-out time. The property does need some updating. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The on-line description should include the fact that the second bedroom is accessible via narrow stairs and the second bathroom is quite small. It should be noted that there is no A/C downstairs.
