As you enter you are greeted by vaulted ceiling’s in this open floor plan home. The fully equipped kitchen is stocked with all the cookware you need to make a family meal, just bring your food! The living room is complete with a propane fireplace, a large screen TV with Dish Network Satellite TV with HBO and a Blu-Ray player. Surround yourself with towering pine trees as you relax on the expansive deck, complete with a propane BBQ, we provide the propane. On the main floor there is a bedroom with a queen size bed and a full bathroom. Downstairs there are 2 more bedrooms, one with a queen bed and one with a full bed and two twin beds. There is also a second full bathroom with a washer and dryer. On the lower floor there is a second living room area complete with a large screen TV, Dish Network, a Blu-Ray player, DVD library, books and games to help keep the family entertained. You will be comfortable on those warm summer nights with central air conditioning complete with HEPA filter to reduce allergens. Please note this home is strictly no pets and no smoking. With a tank-less hot water heater there will be plenty of hot water for showering after a long day of hiking! Bring your electric vehicle, with the EV charger in the garage (complimentary EV car charging at up to 17kW/hour during PG&E off-peak hours only) you can plug in to be sure you are ready for your next day of exploring Yosemite. Sep 8, 2025 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy We had a wonderful stay at a cabin in Ponderosa Ranch, East Zion. The place had absolutely everything we needed—and more! A fun surprise was finding turmeric in the pantry, which saved our Persian cooking plans when we realized we’d forgotten to pack it. It’s clear the owners stocked the home like they intended to live there themselves. The cabin was spotless, spacious, and comfortably fit our group of seven adults. The host even left cold water in the fridge for us, which was a thoughtful touch after a long day of travel. Another standout was the incredible night sky—we were able to see the Milky Way right from the deck. Truly magical.Communication was also top-notch. The host was very responsive, even replying to a message at 11 p.m. on a Sunday night, which we really appreciated. The only minor downside was the 40-minute drive each way to the Zion Canyon shuttle stops for hikes like The Narrows and Angels Landing. That said, we were up early for hikes anyway, so it wasn’t a major issue.
