We arrived late and the home was heated for us which was really kind. The kitchen had all the necessities, including spices and olive oil. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The home is in a more remote area so takes roughly 15 - 20 minutes to get into Ferndale and Bellingham respectively. Our host was very responsive and granted us a late check-out when requested. Our son also joined us for a great family Christmas. The Beachside Cottage was very clean and comfortable and accommodated us all quite well. Even though we had rain every day, the scenery out the front windows was beautiful. Our host, David, was great and answered all of our questions. We intend on coming back soon. ##### Greg W. We loved how quiet it was and adored the smell of the salt air with the sound of the calming rain. While we weren't lounging in the house much since our trip was to see Taylor Swift, we enjoyed the few hours when we got to just enjoy the property. Our group has already discussed wanting to come back to stay next year for a more relaxed vacation where we would get to enjoy the house and property a bit more. 13/10 would reccomend. ##### Samuel A. My husband and I along with our daughter, her husband and their 2 1/2 yr old son. Weekend celebration of my husband’s birthday. House was very clean, open floor plan, view of Lummi Bay and beyond on one side and golf course in the back. Dead end street and very quiet. Kids room was perfect for our grandson with awesome books and toys. Small playground a short walk away. We went up to Birch Bay State Park to the beach and were happy to bring the sand toys from the house. We’d love to stay again sometime! Thank you David and Annie for sharing with us.
