INSIDE THE HOME Three bedrooms with sleeping for six as well as sleeping for two in the cozy 3-season sunroom. Plenty of space for your family and friends to gather. Two full bathrooms offer plenty of room for everyone. Galley kitchen has all the amenities you'll need to enjoy cooking meals, and the dining room table seats 6, with an additional small table for 2, or eat outside! The house was clean and had most everything we needed. There are 2 grills, gas & charcoal. Plenty of wood for the fire pit. There are metal stairs to get down to the private beach. Lake Michigan was beautiful. Clean and cool. The only things we needed was food, coffee, drinks, Bic lighter. Ate at The What Not Inn. The beach is easily accessible with a moderately long set of stairs down the dune to the beach which was almost entirely private (stairs are shared with adjacent property). While we were staying there was a good 40 ft of white sandy beach which was perfect for relaxing, sunbathing, and swimming. The view from the backyard and top of the dune is immaculate. It is the perfect location with beach access for our kiddos to enjoy the beach anytime of day. We were able to walk down to the beach with the stairs located above the bluffs and the beach area was almost private. Not many people so it was nice and secluded. Check in and out was super easy. The house had everything we needed. There is a starter pack of soap, shampoo, etc which was nice. We were able to drive to the grocery store to get more supplies. This was clearly communicated to us in the welcome packet. We will definitely stay here again in the future as it is the perfect beach location!! The house was fine not updated in any way but fine. About 150' from the water with no access to the water. But the view from the Adirondack chairs was excellent. Inside was very clean. You can not access the beach from the property which we new it was off limits. Someone called the property management stating we where on the beach. The property management called us and we where not even at the property. Which was super frustrating. The property management was great to work with. The neighbors also complained we had a huge bonfire which was untrue. I probably would not rent at that house again because of the neighbors that clearly do not like rentals. ##### Gina D. While the view of the lake was gorgeous, we overpaid based on the overall experience. The house is outdated and needs remodeling. The walls of the bedroom are paper thin. There was an odor on some of the furniture. The property owners called a maintenance guy during our stay to fix the garbage disposal which could have waited until we checked out. One of the two bathrooms was connected to the master bedroom which was not mentioned in the listing. It would be good if the property owners built stairs to the private beach on the property so that we did not have to drive a mile to get to the beach. ##### James S. Sunset Bluff was a wonderful setting for an annual girls’ trip. The home was clean and comfortable for our group of 5\. The home is set back from the road and accessed by a long tree-lined driveway. Though there are houses on each side, it feels very private due to the wooded setting. We enjoyed sitting by the bluff at the end of the and watching the beautiful sunsets and listening to the waves. It is a great location-close to Saugatuck and Oval Beach. Nearby small Douglas Beach is nice but parking limited and many stairs if you have someone with mobility issues. ##### kris m. The house was spacious and comfy and no complaints on the accommodations. It was definitely disappointing to not have beach access because all the surrounding houses do. And the nearby beaches are nice but the parking fills up quickly so be sure to get there early. We did know ahead of time that the beach access was not working so it wasn’t a surprise. But we were still jealous of the nearby homes. Overall we would definitely return to this beautiful location! The fire pit was the highlight and we used it every night.
