The beach is easily accessible with a moderately long set of stairs down the dune to the beach which was almost entirely private (stairs are shared with adjacent property). While we were staying there was a good 40 ft of white sandy beach which was perfect for relaxing, sunbathing, and swimming. The view from the backyard and top of the dune is immaculate. About 3/4 a mile off the interstate, tucked back in the woods right off the beach. The property was quiet and peaceful. We could watch the sunset and storms roll in over the beach from our window. Sunset Bluff was a wonderful setting for an annual girls’ trip. The home was clean and comfortable for our group of 5\. The home is set back from the road and accessed by a long tree-lined driveway. Though there are houses on each side, it feels very private due to the wooded setting. We enjoyed sitting by the bluff at the end of the and watching the beautiful sunsets and listening to the waves. It is a great location-close to Saugatuck and Oval Beach. Nearby small Douglas Beach is nice but parking limited and many stairs if you have someone with mobility issues. ##### kris m. Property on the outside needs a serious power washing and clean up. Inside was very clean. You can not access the beach from the property which we new it was off limits. Someone called the property management stating we where on the beach. The property management called us and we where not even at the property. Which was super frustrating. The property management was great to work with. The neighbors also complained we had a huge bonfire which was untrue. While the view of the lake was gorgeous, we overpaid based on the overall experience. The house is outdated and needs remodeling. The walls of the bedroom are paper thin. There was an odor on some of the furniture. The property owners called a maintenance guy during our stay to fix the garbage disposal which could have waited until we checked out. One of the two bathrooms was connected to the master bedroom which was not mentioned in the listing. It would be good if the property owners built stairs to the private beach on the property so that we did not have to drive a mile to get to the beach. ##### James S. It had been a long day but thankful for Hailey who finally got us in! Property was listed at $300/night. Actually cost=$448/n with all the added fees. (And we still stripped the beds!!) The house was fine not updated in any way but fine. About 150' from the water with no access to the water. But the view from the Adirondack chairs was excellent. For the price we would not consider a return. But all that being said we had a great time being together for the first time since pre-Covid so that's what we'll remember most! ##### Susan H. We loved sitting in the yard facing the lake. Interior space is large and beds were comfortable. We’d like to visit again in May! ##### MaryAnn M.
