Extremely clean, well-organized, some lovely furniture - just a comfortable, homey place for a night or a week. Kitchen had everything you need. We loved the locale, too (both Farmington and where this is located in Farmington). These two words may not go together, but the carriage house is both cozy and spacious. I like history so it would be cool if there was a book talking about the history of the carriage house with older pictures. Some FYI, It’s not really private so keep that in mind. The house on the property has kids that were running around the yard. Also, someone was at the park next to the carriage house the night we were there that was playing loud music. Didn’t really bother us though. And it’s in town so of course you hear traffic but I thought they did a great job with the outside sitting areas. Just about the house, if you bring kids just be aware that the flooring squeaks along with some of the doors. I get up early so I had to be really careful The stairs were extremely loud. It sounded like someone was continuing walking down the stairs after you got to the bottom. We would laugh about that. I assumed it was the original floors. Like I said, overall it was a great place to stay and would recommend it. I felt very safe there. My son and I even walked around the block looking at the other Victorian homes. We didn’t really use the kitchen but it seemed like they had everything you would need to cook a basic meal. One last thing that I’m not sure is normal for this area but the internet did not seem great. We had to use my data on my phone for my son to watch YouTube on his iPad. One night I tried to watch tv on one of their bedroom tv’s and it kept pausing. I’m not sure if this is normal or not. ##### April D.
