Our family spent a few nights here and truly did not want to leave! I wish I could give it 4.5 stars, but I had to round up. :) The house is older, but in that comfy, homey way that is relaxing because you don't have to worry about everything being too precious and your kids breaking something.
There is a zipline and swing in the big, grassy backyard that rolls right down to the sea. Bring your water shoes for swimming in these lovely, clear, warm waters, because the sea floor is littered with rocks and barnacles and oysters and other wonderful things to discover. At low tide the bay can turn temporarily into mud flats for easy crab hunting--and not to worry, the tide will be back in a couple of hours! There was a SUP, kayak and few boogie boards available for use as well--pretty awesome.
The dryer was broken (it happened the day of our arrival, and we were fine using solar power to dry our things) and the oven ended up refusing to turn on, but Matt dropped off a giant toaster oven for us to use instead.
Ultimately, this place was so happy and relaxing that we wouldn't hesitate to return.
