Sleeps 6 max, (with 2 sleeping on a queen sofa pullout in the living room) full kitchen, with private garden and your own tiny chicken barn with beautiful, miniature chickens. Add any of our optional classes to round out your trip: delicious low sugar jam making, or cheese/fresh butter making, beginning mosaic and more. We'll send our Activity Guide describing all the classes and things to do in the area right after you've booked! We require a signed rental agreement. Our farm's two bedroom bungalow home is a cute, well designed getaway that welcomes guests of all ages. Tucked into an old-growth avocado grove, a short path leads past your hidden hot tub and shaded picnic table to your front door. Each room has separate air conditioning and heating controls. The master bedroom has a comfortable queen bed. The second bedroom is furnished with a queen size bed with a sliding door entrance to a hidden, picket-fenced garden. Two more guests can sleep on the living room FULL pullout coach, linens provided. Harvest herbs for your meals, show your kids where food comes from, or just soak up the pleasure of lounging in the garden and watching the bird and butterflies. Your private garden includes a miniature barn and gentle miniature chickens for your enjoyment. Indoors, the cozy living room has a Smart flatscreen tv with dvd and a library of movie-buff approved movies. No cable tv, but log into your Netflix or Hula account using our wifi. Mexican tiled bathroom with all the basics waiting for your arrival. Full kitchen with plenty of small appliances for your wonderful meals: rice cooker, crock pot, blender for your smoothies, food processor, healthy air popcorn maker, waffle iron, cook books. High-end Reverse Osmosis Nimbus five stage water filtration system. Many of the baking essentials have been provided: rice, baking powder, baking soda, salt, pepper, assorted spices. Full size refrigerator stocked with breakfast items for your stay, as well as high-end Reverse Osmosis Nimbus five stage water filtration system, Coffee maker and good coffee and several teas. Heated hot tub for your private use just steps from your front door, hidden under an avocado tree. The washer/dryer and folding station is housed in a separate building in your garden of the unit for your exclusive use. Designated parking just for you, by the entrance to the garden path to your door. The path is short but does require a few steps up to the front door. Hike through the 20 acres of our farm during day light hours or take a good flashlight after sunset and marvel at the night sky when you've familiarized yourself with the roads. The nights here are truly amazing. We ask that you stay on the roads. Your picket fenced garden is accessed through the 2nd bedroom sliding door as well as a path from the front door, and has a demonstration herb garden for you to clip from most of the year. The Oaks Restaurant is a couple miles away and is a rural destination for breakfast, lunch or dinner. They also have a tiny produce stand/market and frequent market events. For something on the romantic side: down the road a bit further is Temecula Creek Inn's Cork Fire Kitchen. They have a fireside bar that is quite nice for enjoying a drink and chatting before heading home after a nice meal. We've gathered a few menus from cool local restaurants and the local winery down the road a piece, they're in the room for your perusal, as well as our Activity Guide that we send to you upon a confirmed reservation. It's also printed out and waiting for you in your living room. For half of the year there's a you-pick strawberry farm right down the road as well. You'll see small signs on Old 395 as you drive in from either direction. Absolutely awesome strawberries, pick them yourself, or buy them already harvested. Just ask if you have questions about what to see or where to go, there's so much to do in San Diego and nearby Temecula/ Wine Country and the adjacent Fallbrook art community! We offer discounted private party cheese making classes to our farmstay guests, maximum: 5 farmstay adults, as well as a homemade, hand churned ice cream experience using a beautiful Amish-made ice cream hand crank machine as an add-on for those that would like to enjoy either as well as a jam making canning class. Little known, even to San Diegans, Rainbow, California is adjacent to Fallbrook and is right off the I-15 freeway, yet Morning Song Farm seems like it's miles away from the city. One exit north you'll find Temecula's wine country, as well as the renowned Pechanga Resort and Casino. We're only a few minutes off the I-15, we're freeway close. 40 minutes or so to Oceanside's beautiful beaches and Carlsbad's flower fields and Legoland, and an exit south of Temecula's wine country tours, right in between San Diego's and Los Angeles' attractions. Twenty-five minutes or so from Cal State San Marcos University, thirty-five minutes or so from San Diego Wild Animal Park in Escondido and a little over an hour to Seaworld and world famous Balboa Park. The local farmers' market is on Saturday and is 15 minutes away in Old Town Temecula...a destination in itself. We're one exit south of Temecula. Be sure to check out Temecula Olive Oil Company's tasting bar if you find yourself in Old Town. Temecula has a number of vineyards eager to showcase their wines, wine country is one exit north of us (10-15 minutes) and if you book early enough, hot air ballooning is a local wine country favorite. There's a nearby u-pick strawberry field that shouldn't be missed when in season; and if you enjoy local wines, a mile from our farm entrance is Roadrunner Winery. They are very small and the owners spend most of their days tending their vines, so you do have to call ahead for a wine tasting to make sure they're tending the bar and not the vineyard. Many guests have remarked that their wine is quite good. Their contact information is included in our Activity Guide that we send out to your email (it's in PDF format) and it's in the Guest Guidebook found in the living room of the property. No public transportation available, although there is an active Uber / Lyft community serving the area. Some guests choose to walk to nearby Roadrunner Winery. Other than that, a vehicle is a must. We've listed our Bungalow as having a maximum occupancy of 6. Be aware that there are two bedrooms and two beds, each accommodating two guests max, so a 5th and 6th guests would be sleeping on the pull out full sized coach. Maximum occupancy is 6, please count all members of your party: young, old, and those that are employed by you. When available, a solution for larger groups that want to stay on the same date is to book a one bedroom unit AND the two bedroom unit at the same time. There are a total of five vacation farmstay rental homes on the farm, and all five can be rented at the same time for a maximum of 20 guests at once. It's our intention that our guests are always delighted with the accommodations we offer and never feel overcrowded. ## Property amenities ### Pool/Spa - Hot tub ### Internet - Available in the cottage: Free WiFi ### Parking and transportation - Apr 23, 2018 #### Our stay We only stayed one night, but this bungalow was the perfect little getaway. The animals on the farm are so cool and you really can't beat the views. It was clean and the produce they gave us was so delicious. I would definitely stay again! ##### Jen A. Oct 29, 2023 #### Peaceful and Relaxing Everything worked, the place was clean and well maintained. Being surrounded by lush fruit trees and herb gardens added to the peacefulness and serenity. It was fun getting to interact with the alpacas, goats and chickens. The view was phenomenal. Would definitely come back again. ##### Rhonda B. ### 10/10 Excellent #### Sandra N. Mar 1, 2023 Liked: Check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy #### Magical place away from home I truly loved our stay at the farm. We stayed in the Bunny Hill property. Our favorite part was the hot tub. It was perfect!! The house was ample and fit our entire party of 7. My daughter really enjoyed walking down and feeding the animals; the alpacas, the goats, the peacocks and the chickens. We also enjoyed going down to the chicken coop and picking up eggs for breakfast. The location was very remote and serene. This location is perfect for those that want to get away and indulge in nature and relaxation. I will definitely be coming back. ##### Sandra N. Oct 17, 2019 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy #### Outstanding getaway! We had a great time at Morning Song Farm. We especially enjoyed gathering eggs and the private hot tub. We enjoyed the farm's hand churned ice cream activity and learned how to make cheese. Not too far from great restaurants but far enough from town to enjoy the night sky. We'll be back! ##### Shay S. Stayed 1 night in Sep 2019 ### 10/10 Excellent #### Kim W. May 10, 2019 #### Quaint and Quiet! We had a quick couple days in Temecula but really enjoyed out stay here. It was quaint and quiet. The spa was so nice! And we loved the delicious eggs and treats they left for us! Wish we had time to take some of the fun classes they offer but unfortunately it was a turn around trip for us. Next time! And we love love LOVED all the animals - especially the Alpacas <3 ##### Kim W. The views were absolutely breathtaking. Its hard to believe such a beautiful setting was an hour out of both San Diego or LA and feel like you are in the mi. I also enjoyed the privacy and farm atmosphere. Donna the owner had farm fresh organic eggs, Oranges and Avocado's awaiting my arrival. they were absolutely delicious! if you want to get away form the hustle, bustle and traffic this is the place for you! I would definitely come back again. Oct 5, 2016 #### Lovely Farmstary We had a great stay at Morning Song Farm. The property is beautiful and peaceful, perfect for our visit. The hosts were great, provided fresh eggs, veggies and a bottle of wine. I will definitely visit again the next time I'm in town. Thank you Donna and Lance! ##### Nicole M. Aug 24, 2016 #### Excellent Family Spot The two bedroom bungalow was a perfect match for our family of four (two adults and two children ages 5 and 4). It was a nice quiet retreat after a day at the beach, Legoland, or San Diego Zoo Safari Park. Some people might find the drive to the attractions a bit long (45 minutes to an hour), but we found the drive was a great way to decompress from the busy day. The farm fresh eggs were out of this world along with amazing fresh fruits and veggies. Donna and Lance were wonderful, generous hosts. Donna's detailed information about local attractions was incredibly helpful in planning our stay. They even put together a special CSA box for us to take as a gift to friends - the fresh vegetables and eggs made us heroes. For our children, the highlight of the stay was Donna deputizing them chicken farmers. They loved the "responsibility" of caring for the chickens in our own backyard. The delight our boys found in petting the chickens and taking them food even beat Legoland. ##### Heather S. Stayed 6 nights in Jul 2016 This review was submitted before 2018 and has not been verified. ### 10/10 Excellent #### En-Yi L. Jul 12, 2016 #### Wonderful getaway from the city! Our family (parents, me and husband, 5 year old daughter) had such a great time staying on morning song farm! From the beginning, Donna was very thoughtful to send us tons of useful information to help us plan for the entire trip (where to go, what to do, etc) and it was information I wasn't able to find on most travel sites I use (say tripadvisor). Then they waited for us to arrive after dark, and sure enough, we got lost:p really appreciated that they stayed on the line with us and even came out to look for us. The bungalow was nice and cozy, had interesting decorations and the fresh produce stocked in the frig was tasty! But the highlight for us was the animals on the farm-- my daughter visited 'her chickens and chicks' in the backyard several times a day, and we fed goats with Lance once (exciting to say the least), had the alpacas greet us every time we drove in or out of the farm, and we enjoyed trying to spot the llama in the late afternoons. Oh, the stars were amazing too. Overall, it was so different from where we came from and so much fun! We will surely be back~~ ##### En-Yi L. Stayed 3 nights in Jul 2016 This review was submitted before 2018 and has not been verified. ### 10/10 Excellent Jun 7, 2016 #### Great Girls' Weekend on An Organic Farm We had a great time staying in the bungalow. They sent a guide of wine tours ahead of time to me and we had the whole weekend planned out before we even packed. Loved, loved, loved the organic farm stuff we found in the refrigerator, and ended up eating in instead of going through with our plans for dinner out. The hot tub was amazing, so cute how it is hidden in the trees. We lucked out and the night sky was gorgeous. The place was super clean and the kitchen had all the cooking gear and appliances we needed for our many planned meals. There's a winery pretty close, really walking distance...but we drove; and we visited there on our last day before heading home. We all enjoyed meeting Lance's goats and feeding the miniature chickens. We'll be back! My girlfriend and i stayed for 3 nights and I wish it was our home. From the cool mornings and sitting outside enjoying our coffee, to the beautiful Southern California sunsets over the mountains, our expectations were exceeded at every turn. We got the secluded feeling we were looking for as soon as we exited the freeway and it only got better as we took the windy road up and down the mountain into the valley. Not too far from all the great tourist attractions we hear so much about but quiet and romantic when we wanted it to be. I recommend anyone to stay here and we will definitely be back. ## Expedia's Latest Trends ### Hotels > [Meadowood Napa Valley](https://www.expedia.ca/St-Helena-Hotels-Meadowood-Napa-Valley.h7673916.Hotel-Information) > > [Yosemite Valley Lodge](https://www.expedia.ca/Yosemite-National-Park-Hotels-Yosemite-Valley-Lodge.h16279668.Hotel-Information) > > [The Ranch at Death Valley – Inside the Park](https://www.expedia.ca/Death-Valley-Hotels-The-Ranch-At-Death-Valley-Inside-The-Park.h893189.Hotel-Information) > > [Indian Flat RV Park - Tent Cabins & Cottages](https://www.expedia.ca/El-Portal-Hotels-Indian-Flat-RV-Park-Tent-Cabins-Cottages.h10409843.Hotel-Information) > > [Hyatt Carmel Highlands](https://www.expedia.ca/Carmel-Hotels-Hyatt-Carmel-Highlands.h8495.Hotel-Information) > > [Versante Hotel](https://www.expedia.ca/Vancouver-Hotels-Versante-Hotel.h68897906.Hotel-Information) > > [Hotels in Comox](https://www.expedia.ca/Comox-Hotels.d4052.Travel-Guide-Hotels) > > [Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn & Spa](https://www.expedia.ca/Sonoma-Hotels-Fairmont-Sonoma-Mission-Inn-Spa.h465.Hotel-Information) > > [Lakehouse Resort](https://www.expedia.ca/San-Marcos-Hotels-Lakehouse-Hotel-And-Resort.h909721.Hotel-Information) > > [Rancho Valencia Resort and Spa](https://www.expedia.ca/Rancho-Santa-Fe-Hotels-Rancho-Valencia-Resort-And-Spa.h17535.Hotel-Information) > > [The Ahwahnee](https://www.expedia.ca/Yosemite-National-Park-Hotels-The-Ahwahnee.h974797.Hotel-Information) > > [Alila Ventana Big Sur - Inclusive Resort](https://www.expedia.ca/Monterey-Hotels-Alila-Ventana-Big-Sur-Adults-Only.h574252.Hotel-Information) > > [Cedar Lodge](https://www.expedia.ca/El-Portal-Hotels-Cedar-Lodge.h889912.Hotel-Information) > > [The Inn at Death Valley – Inside the Park](https://www.expedia.ca/Death-Valley-Hotels-The-Inn-At-Death-Valley-Inside-The-Park.h893179.Hotel-Information) > > [Curry Village](https://www.expedia.ca/Yosemite-National-Park-Hotels-Curry-Village.h42942960.Hotel-Information) > > [Hotels in Zermatt](https://www.expedia.ca/Zermatt-Hotels.d4300.Travel-Guide-Hotels) ### Flights > [Flights from Kitchener (YKF) to Kelowna (YLW)](https://www.expedia.ca/lp/flights/ykf/ylw/kitchener-to-kelowna) > > [Flights from Toronto (YYZ) to Winnipeg (YWG)](https://www.expedia.ca/lp/flights/yyz/ywg/toronto-to-winnipeg) > > [Flights from Thunder Bay (YQT) to London (YXU)](https://www.expedia.ca/lp/flights/yqt/yxu/thunder-bay-to-london) > > [Flights from Toronto (YYZ) to Marigot (DOM)](https://www.expedia.ca/lp/flights/yyz/dom/toronto-to-marigot) > > [Flights from Hamilton (YHM) to Edmonton (YEG)](https://www.expedia.ca/lp/flights/yhm/yeg/hamilton-to-edmonton) > > [Flights from Hamilton (YHM) to Dieppe (YQM)](https://www.expedia.ca/lp/flights/yhm/yqm/hamilton-to-moncton) > > [Flights from Toronto (YYZ) to London (YXU)](https://www.expedia.ca/lp/flights/yyz/yxu/toronto-to-london) ### Cars > [Car rentals in Phoenix](https://www.expedia.ca/Car-Rentals-In-Phoenix.d178298.Car-Rental-Guide) > > [Car rentals in Orlando](https://www.expedia.ca/Car-Rentals-In-Orlando.d178294.Car-Rental-Guide) ### Packages > [kid friendly vacations](https://www.expedia.ca/lp/theme-vacations/kid-friendly-vacations) > > [Las Vegas Vacations](https://www.expedia.ca/Las-Vegas.d178276.Destination-Travel-Guides) > > [Napa Valley Vacations](https://www.expedia.ca/Napa-Valley.d180046.Destination-Travel-Guides)
